Picture this: perfectly crispy and tender fried chicken perched atop delicate, sweet buttermilk pancakes with a slight crispiness along the edges. While the chicken is a definite highlight, the pancakes may not suit everyone's taste buds. Reminiscent of Artistry's layout, the café maintains a familiar atmosphere.
The space of Earlybird is cosy and spacious, which makes it an ideal space to have a leisurely brunch. The dishes are generally on point for a cafe, with no GST and service charge.
Every dish at Earlybird impressed, and it is safe to say that this is one of the best cafes to open in Singapore this year.
With addition of Earlybird, the cafe scene in the area is getting more competition.
Generally, I liked the vibes and offerings and am likely to make a return visit, though think prices could be friendlier to appeal to the youths who hang out at this area.
Early Bird Cafe is perhaps one of the most notable entrants into the scene in the neighbourhood; a place to check out if in the area.
