Reasons to visit: From the generous portions to the relaxed ambient vibe, attentive and extremely fast service (almost all our dishes arrived within ten minutes), I can’t wait for my next visit to ‘Mum and Dad’s’.

In short, Baba Nyonya is a good place for Nyonya food. Price is considered reasonable, as it is inside a shopping mall, plus in the golden triangle area. Do check it out.

We just couldn’t resist having a packet of the Asam Beehoon (RM2.50). It was so good, we ended up having a second packet before our dishes came. The thin rice noodle is very tasty and has a piquant tang of heat to it, making it delicious with every bite.

I had a pleasant meal at Baba Nyonya. The dishes posssessed satisfying, homecooked flavours which I love. Granted there were variations in some of the dishes I had, but tastewise they were still delicious. If you are not a stickler for tradition, just keep an open mind and enjoy the dishes as it is.
