The food, service, and environment are all very good, then. The only reason for the slight mark down is the portion size for the money. I left feeling a little hungry, which was in part due to the small number of vegetarian options, meaning I didn’t have a starter.
Overall, the level of service cancelled out the pleasant surroundings, and the food was nearly all just ok rather than good. I don’t feel any urge to go back soon, but if you have Muslim friends whom you want to treat to dim sum, it might be the best option nearby.
Reasons to visit Natalina Italian Kitchen in Avenue K: easy access to Avenue K by MRT; the adjoining Frank’s Bar (find the hat); Roman cuisine passed down from mother to son.
Reasons to visit Frank’s Bar: the crooning of Frank Sinatra and a classy jazz vibe; heavy leather furniture and classic décor; and quite possibly the best cocktails in Kuala Lumpur.
For us here in the present, it's the sort of cocktail bar one can easily lounge in thanks to a cosy vibe. Big band-era music is fed through the speakers for guests to enjoy, just loud enough to serve as background music and for you to notice from time to time but not loud enough to turn your conversations into shouting matches.
Reasons to visit Urbean Café, Avenue K: good coffee; decent selection of meat-free options; nutritious and tasty food.
A small store with visible kitchen and counter takes half of the shop lot, and the rest are dine-in tables.
The Crispy Taro With Bubble Rice Ball - An interesting item on the menu certainly whetted our appetite. A must-try with pure chicken meat slice filling, encapsulated in moist yam paste with a crispy bubble rice balls coating.
I do enjoy eating here and it the occasional treat that I indulge in.
In case you don’t know it, SuperPark Malaysia is an indoor playground for the whole family, including the adults… It is located on levels 4 & 5 of Avenue K…
