On this day, I will guide you through a loop of trail that will reach all the highlights people usually want to see in Bukit Gasing, including the wooden platform, suspension bridge, killer stairs, abandoned houses, park area, steel bridge, and the telecommunication tower. This will be a fairly easy trail at the start, a little tiring at the Killer Stairs, and slightly more challenging hiking up to the tower/temple.

Arrive early (especially on weekends), as parking is quite limited close to the entrance. We arrived around 9:30am on a weekday and found parking easily along the roadside. On weekends it’s advisable to arrive before 8am to find parking.

Parking at the Petaling Jaya entrance is limited. Hence, it’s best that you carpool with your friends if you’re coming in a large group. Otherwise, I would suggest the second entrance in Kuala Lumpur with ample parking spaces. Avoid yellow lines as there is strict enforcement in the area.

We climbed up the staircases behind Telekom and finally, we managed to get to the Indian temple. But the entrance towards the temple is blocked. We could not visit the temple. Well, we still managed to catch a glimpse of the KL/PJ view from here.
