The fried pork belly was quite moist, tender, slightly crispy at the edges and tasty, and went nicely with the onsen egg and rice bowl. The bacon and enoki was crunchy and nice, soft salty otah and crispy tau kee standard stuff but nicely fried and unoily, and sauce quite sweet and comfortable.
The karubi beef rib was smoky, tender and slightly beefy, but I couldn’t taste much marination and any other flavour, resulting in the bowl being slightly one dimensional.
The curry was not bad, thick, fragrant, spicy and savoury with rempah (including ginger, lemongrass and onion); not so lemak or sweet.
