Crackerjack serves up the kind of brunch which you'd never dreamy about making yourself which ups the satisfaction factor by ten-fold.
I liked in each dish, but when put together, nothing really stood out on its own.
I enjoyed the afternoon at Cracker Jack, it's quaint, it's charming, it's got abit of everything for that me-time respite. Be back soon!
Their brunch/breakfast plate was ordinary. The cauliflowers were nice. Bacon was dry. Sausage was boring. Scrambled eggs unexceptional. That slice of sourdough was just that, saved by the salted butter.
The service dented the dining experience as well, for which is a very important part of our review for every restaurant. You are not missing out much, really.
In retrospect, I did enjoy everything we ordered in spite of the rather small portions.
Crackerjack, by the people behind 28 HongKong Street and Proof & Company Spirits, is an all-day dining concept with a welcoming atmosphere.
crackerjack might've just opened, but i found myself impressed by how much care and thought they'd put into the food. when they said a balanced meal on their lunch menu, they really meant it. i'm definitely coming back.
