Overall their service is excellent and we didn't wait long for our food. Not sure how's the crowd and waiting time like during their peak hours but the food here is quite good.
The place is pretty, the food is yummy, the price is expensive. The Lavender bakery is still one of my favourites though. I bought the kids these super cute Halloween sugar cookies.
Creamy Mushroom Fettuccine was good. Al-dente spaghetti cooked in creamy sauce and topped with grilled salmon. I really enjoy it. Add on Grilled Salmon RM 10.35/ Creamy Mushroom Fettuccine @ RM 20.75
Salmon with Garlic Spaghetti - RM25 Salmon wasn't that fresh nor flakey. Kinda felt it being too mushy. The cream sauce was a little tasteless. However, the spaghetti was well cooked. Overall, the spaghetti felt really light and healthy. I would expect something like that to be richer in flavour. Not to mention the price, some may say that RM25 is because of the salmon but personally, I do not find it worthwhile.
I love the Summer Salad with Mustard Dressing (RM12) – this is one of the most refreshing salads I have had! A huge bowl of the freshest greens (yes, they tasted like they’ve just been plucked!), topped with slices of juicy oranges, sweet plump strawberries and sprinkled generously with pine nuts… we dug in with great relish! I enjoyed the sourish tang of the dressing which really perked up my appetite.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied and the price tag is quite reasonable for once-in-a-while chicken rice cravings. It went pretty well with glass of prosecco. Who would have guessed that prosecco could be paired with chicken rice? Hmm...
