Open Farm Community New Dishes maybe created and filled with with local flavours, however, I feel that there isn’t any wow factor. Some fine tuning to the dishes may be required. Generally, I notice the vegetarian dishes were extremely well executed, so were the pasta.

Price-wise, it is not the cheapest but it looks like Halia tries hard to develop a characteristic cuisine not bounded by a chef's tenure or a single dish and results has been positive despite one or two lackluster dishes.

Margarita's @ Dempsey Hill Restaurant

Blk 11, Dempsey Road, #01-19 Singapore 249673

The concept at Margarita’s is where the best Mexican cuisine is served – no pretence, just good food prepared in a special Mexican homemade way. It is cooking with simple, but always the best ingredients available, to bring forth clear, fresh, homemade flavours. We aim for food that is beautiful as well as delicious. Our restaurants offer a memorable dining experience in a pleasant ambience – a place for friends, family, lovers and acquantainces to discover the joy and excitement of good Mexican food.

Food-wise, Margarita's isn't the best or the most authentic (it purports to serve Mexican fare, but it's really more Tex-Mex), but it was more than decent, and generally passed muster.

However, I felt the dulce de leche, or sweetened milk sauce, lacks punch, being rather thin in texture and weak in taste. Still, the brownie is great enough on its own. Worth ordering!

Margarita's is the perfect place to have an authentic mexican food. Their food portion was quite huge, as I heard from the manager, mexican food is mend to be shared, it mean you can order a few dishes and shared among your friends, family or your love one. I really love this place not just the food, the atmosphere was cozy, chill and relaxing. I will be back often for some good mexican food and chill around here when I am free on weekend.
