BOTAN is a good place to mix food and alcohol.
I can’t wait to find friends who love Japanese food so that I could be back to Botan Japanese Restaurant soon.
Now, the butter wasn't very rich, and the coffee itself was rather acidic (I only drank half of the cup).
There is service at the tables, whereas a self-service system is practiced at other outlets, making use of the buzzers.
I can never get enough of kaya and french toasts! I would not proclaim I lurvee them but they make satisfactory breakfast. My only complain is that the slices at Ya Kun are too small, one plate is not enough to to fill me up.
Food at Yin Ji is focused on Chinese Cantonese cuisine, particularly changfen / chee cheong fun / steamed rice rolls. With a wide variety of filling options, the humble but versatile dish is elevated here. Congee is the other star attraction. Portions are sized for individuals. Prices are wallet-friendly for everyday dining, budget about SGD $10 per person.
Service at Yin Ji is efficient but transactional. Staff interaction is limited to ordering over the counter, and as a result, not much menu knowledge is displayed.
The more I chew the fried dough and the cheong fun, the more tasty it seemed? Hahhaha! But my favourite from this shop is still the tender beef egg roll.
My favourite dish from this place is the Menbosha (fried shrimp toast). Well fried to a golden brown, crisp outer and doesn't feel oily. Flavourful.
Tapasta Bar would be a good spot for those looking for a spot for the after-work chillout, as well as a decent spot for a quiet catch-up over the weekends considering its location that primarily serves the office crowds on weekdays.
MexOut attracts a healthy crowd at lunch-time but food gets churned out fast at the self-serviced takeaway counter if you wanna do a quick pop-in-and-out.

Every item was good, with the only exception being the noodles having a slight kee or alkaline flavour, although this was made up for by the outstanding sauce made of dried shrimps and kelp.

A trip to Maxwell to da bao brought us to some of our favorites and some new experiences too. China Street Fritters and their Ngoh Hiang, Liver Rolls, Egg Slice and Sausage with Bee Hoon.
Nice. The rendang was nutty and lemak
Birds Of A Feather 2022 115 Amoy Street #01-01 https://www.birdsofafeather.com.sg/ Pork Dumplings (SGD $17)
Overall, this is the first time I came to BOF and I totally enjoyed the food here. Instead of the overpowering spicy Sichuan cuisine, most of the dishes have been well thought out, multi-layered yet balanced, delicious and well-executed.
Popular Sichuan-Western restaurant Birds Of A Feather located at Amoy Street spots a new menu, after a year long exploration and research by Executive Chef Eugene See.

Dishes are generally still good, though prices have also gone up as with most establishments in Singapore.
The highlight was the Nasi Lemak so we ordered the signatures and side dishes to try for 5 of us.
Oh well… food and services are good and we will surely be back next time.
Overall, if you are a lobster or seafood lover, the Lobsterfest is definitely a buffet you should visit to get a feast on endless lobster. You have 1 more day to visit after seeing my post or maybe you can start planning to visit for next year’s Lobsterfest
All festive buffet options include unlimited chilled juices, soft drinks, coffee and tea. Dinners include an additional complimentary glass of festive welcome drink.
The service at Lime Restaurant was delightful.
new menus to start your gastronomic journey for 2023 at Buona Terra, Chef’s Table, Esora, Lumo, Restaurant JAG
The One-Michelin starred restaurant at Duxton Road Restaurant JAG spots a new Autumn Menu, and it extends the herb driven cuisine by Chef Jeremy.
Restaurant JAG is not your typical French restaurant and its uniqueness is certainly what earned it its Michelin star.
If you haven't been here, I hope the executive set lunch is reason enough for you to come by!
The duck confit was ok, and the seafood bouillabaisse was awesome, rich and flavourful with a mountain of seafood.
Overall, there are more misses than hits at LeVeL33 Craft-Brewery Restaurant & Lounge. It may not be worthwhile even with a scenic view.
The Feather Blade definitely attracts a younger dining crowd with its competitive pricing and location in the buzzing Tanjong Pagar Road which is surrounded by numerous Korean restaurants. You can’t go wrong with their steak here, and if you fancy, some cocktails to go along.
It’s a place—price-point and food-wise—that young people would like.
Really adult and almost manly handshake burger, which was an off the menu item.
I have been to at least 4 other outlets of Peach Garden Chinese Restaurant for their dim sum buffet and a la carte Chinese dishes buffet. A notable household name in Singapore, many Chinese families will choose Peach Garden as their venue for weddings or birthday celebrations. Serving authentic Cantonese cuisine, Peach Garden has strong accolades from publications like Singapore Tatler and Wine and Dine
A must-have delicacy for the Chinese New Year, the Black & White Sesame Nian Gao is soft and chewy with a very subtle hint of black sesame.
All Peach Garden restaurants are open throughout Lunar New Year, including first and second day of Lunar New Year.
The Chip Bee Gardens stretch of cafes and boutiques at Holland Village has always been popular, and with the arrival of Keong Saik Bakery’s second outlet, it’s about to get more buzzing; especially since perennial favourites like % Arabica and Sunday Folks continue to draw in the crowds. Keong Saik
Overall, I am excited to try the other bakes of the bakery when I have more stomach space or more dining party but it would probably be a takeaway since dining there has a 1 hour limit which is not exactly the best for friend to catch up. As for the drinks, I would give it a miss
The Orh Nee Croissant Cube and Orh Nee Cake are available in limited quantities daily for walk-in only, but the Orh Chu Bee is available both for walk-in and pre-orders online in slices and whole cakes.
Liao Fan Hawker Chan Few will ever figure out the calculus behind marrying stupendous with cheap, nevertheless Liao Fan Hawker Chan ...
Overall much better, which is the reason for the Michelien star and the 30 minute meandering queue.
整体来说我还蛮喜欢这里的油鸡的,虽然很多人说比它好吃的大把,不明白怎么会是米其林一星等,不过我还是觉得不管星不星还是算好吃的。
