I must say that with a price tag of $48++ for two, JUMBO Seafood’s afternoon tea gives you a bang for your buck.
Kindly note the Dim Sum Afternoon Tea Set is exclusively available at Ion Orchard outlet only from 2pm to 530pm daily (exclude public holidays) for dine in.
With the opening of JUMBO Seafood at ION Orchard, it marks a milestone in the restaurant's brand history as it is their first outlet along Singapore's premium shopping belt.
braised duck and trotters very flavourful…aiya…everything was good basically…lol!
we always ordered the Teochew char kway teow…very good today…excellent woke!
overall a very nice lunch with friend and mom. we all should take very opportunity to bring the older folks out when they wish to, to share & cherish the time together.
My favourite goes to the Banoffee Tart ($14) with miso caramel, and chocolate & banana mousse encased in a cinnamon shortcrust, adorned with a dehydrated banana.
Salt Grill & Sky Bar offers a neat range of tantalising appetisers for you to kick-start your meal on the right note.
Salt grill & Sky bar is known for its stunning city skyline view.
Overall we enjoyed the dining experience here at Paradise Dynasty and the mom could understand why this is my favorite Chinese restaurant completely.
Overall, the food at Taste Paradise Ion was mainly good.
xiaolongbao 小笼包 was competent, skin, soup all ok.
We enjoyed most of the dishes, but the Hainanese Chicken Rice was frankly quite disappointing. I will be returning to check out the other Violet Oon Nyonya signatures.
The best dish of the day was the beef rendang
Other than dining at their ION Orchard branch, VO also has their cookies, tarts, and cakes available for retail!
Pleasantly surprised by the beefiness of their wagyu tsukune. Both the cheese filled one and the negi shio topped stick were delicious in their own ways.
The quality of the food was good and the dining space was pleasant.
Everyone is served a welcome drink upon entering! The welcome drink is said to contain slight alcohol...
Sen-ryo is very well -received in Hong Kong as well when it first started there in 2005 and has since grown to 13 outlets there.
Sen-ryo is a reminder that casual Japanese restaurants can serve up good Japanese food too, contrary to some other local chains.
I'd rather go to Numazu Uogashizushi, Ikeikemaru, or even Tomi Sushi, as they don't try so hard to make themselves look so upscale.
Pao Fan is available here as well. It comes in lobster broth with ingredients like scallop and crab meat in it.
Stewed Chicken Claw is not an uncommon dish, but not many places do it well.
升级后的味之楼,食材也提升了档次,招牌菜使用了高级食材干鲍。
Pretty underwhelming with the undefined crust which surprisingly lacked crunch. Kinda stingy with the luncheon meat methinks.
Yet it still wasn't as good as Tai Cheong.
Joy Luck Teahouse in ION Orchard is a takeaway kiosk. They will open a second outlet in Bugis next month which will have seating space.
The Mushroom Croissant ($5), lined with a truffled mushroom duxelles, is the other savoury option, and absolutely superb.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed by the standard of coffee at Bacha, where each cup of coffee, served black, is distinctively different from one another.
You certainly will need a higher budget if you decide to come here.
As for the Smoked Salmon Bagel Burger, as much as the flavours were there, it fared better as a simple breakfast sandwich.
I really like the deep, earthy Argentine flavours and that tables are far apart so that conversations are private.
1-ATICO is the latest sky-high luxe multi-concept on level 56 of ION Orchard that houses an Argentinian restaurant FIRE, Japanese-Peruvian influenced sumiyaki bar and grill FLNT and ATICO Lounge, which will be launched at a later date.
The Smore was a nicely decorated chocolate cupcake. At $5 each, it is good value for money.
We had the opportunity to try the new menu items as well as the limited edition series of desserts solely conceived for the outlet and conceptualised by the talented culinary student and MasterChef Singapore Runner-up.
Other than its classic dishes such as Sticky Date Pudding, The Marmalade Pantry will be introducing a revamped menu with dishes that are exclusive to the new outlet.
We are delighted to check out the 6 different oyster dishes.
The Duo Tou season at Putien is a heaven for clam lovers. The plump and succulent clams with ocean-freshness is not to be missed.
I think the café can do better to entice customers with more engaging entertainment.
While the food and drinks were pretty enjoyable, we feel that there could have been more decor spent for the interiors - with more dinosaurs, installations and greeneries to create a better jungle-like and immersive experience for the Jurassic lovers.
Drawing on their vast culinary experience, 1-Group chefs have also injected some local flavours into the menu.
It may be the premium price for the premium tart or the brand’s inability to keep up with the fast-changing food trends that gradually led to its demise in Singapore.
It has a soft cottony cheese center with a crispy outer pastry. Best to eat it when it's hot!
And now that I've finally tried it, I can totally understand the craze. Oh my, these were absolutely sublime. A buttery crust that was just the right amount of bite, filled with a cheesy mousse so light it's like eating a fluffy cloud.
Service at Monster Curry has passable standard for a casual eatery.
Overall, the tonkotsu broth, thick noodle and chicken karaage are the three ingredients that you must not miss here.
All in all, I’m rejoicing that Ramen Nagi has another outlet, as this might mean shorter queues!
If you are craving for Japanese cuisine, Itacho sushi is one of the option you can have it.
I would return any day for this. Impecably fresh, larger than both palms combined. A squeeze of lemon and we picked at this till there was nothing but bones left.
Omg they're so fresh and so good! All Kaisen Don comes with sesame seeds, ikura, wasabi and sprouts.
I was kinda disappointed about it. For me, non marinated raw fish is better or maybe a less salty marinate.
We both don't really enjoy our dining experience at Teppei Syokudo. For the price and the space, I don't think is worth it! I would rather spend more at other Japanese restaurant or eat something else. I will never visit them again.
If you are looking for a full set of afternoon tea, then perhaps not 1872, but if it's a pit stop in between shopping, this is a nice place away from the crowds (provided the shop isn't crowded itself).
I don't have any preference when it comes to which one is more yummy? They're all good!
