The food was rather unique to me being a Japanese Cuisine and the quality is there. Looking at its menu, there is no reason not to be there again.
Jem, 50 Jurong Gateway Road, #04-13, Singapore 608549, open Mon to Sun 11am to 10pm
Enjoy a greater variety with MUSUBI’s Japanese otsumami at wallet-friendly prices that goes perfectly with a selection of specially curated drinks.
Overall, we like many of the dishes at this restaurant. Some of them may perhaps be more competitively priced than neighbourhood tze char places.
Quite a normal, just slightly above average chicken rice. The rice was fragrant but a tad dry, and the chicken was so so in term of both texture and taste. The omelette though was very fluffy and tasty – shiok.
Grilled Fish in the food court of JEM
New JEM Kopitiam Food Hall 2022 This & That chye png, Hennessy Roast Duck, Abang Curry rice, Blanco Court Beef Noodles, Royal Rojak, Haven Teppanyaki, Sedap Wok, Don’ Oyster Bar, Togi Korean Kitchen
What I want to highlight is the NEW 2-in-1 Jjigae, for you to enjoy the best of both worlds with two Korean broths such as kimchi, gochujang or bulgogi in one pot.
On top of the wide variety of Korean dishes, Seorae @ Jem also has a salad bar where diners can get an unlimited flow of ban chan (side dishes) such as kimchi, beansprouts and potatoes, with any order of grilled meat.
Really not bad for its price. Quite fresh, firm yet tender, smoky and moderately sweet savoury. Satisfying.
Ever since the opening of their Changi Airport kiosk, Novena, and Clarke Quay Central outlets, Don Don Donki has been on a roll.
The next time you’re in Jurong in need of a sugar rush, MADLYGOOD makes for a great option if it’s ice cream, waffles or milkshakes you want.
As a young ice cream cafe, MADLYGOOD is constantly experimenting with new dessert creations.
Madlygood is a spot that we would certainly revisit again for good ice-cream in Jurong East
The Soi Thai Soi Nice menu has big photographs of the food, which is very useful.
There is also a mini buffet option that caters for your small family gatherings and parties with a minimum order of 10 to 15 person.
Be sure you get a group of friends to try out their hotpot here at JEM and Seletar Mall.
Leave your willpower at the door, the meat fest is definitely worth splurging the calories over.
Enjoy the grilled meats just as it is to savour the natural sweetness of the meat or pair them with speciality Kintan sauces (original, spicy miso & garlic).
Koung’s Wan Tan Mee Geylang is perhaps regarded by most locals as the epicentre of Singapore’s flesh trade - dirty spas, seedy broth...
Selling the Wanton Mee from pushcart in the beginning to its first outlet at Geylang and now a second outlet by their 2nd generation, that’s a total of 56 years.
The noodle used is thicker than the usual mee kia. There is a springy bite to it and the body picks up the tossing sauce pretty well.
I was so glad to be on the opening day 15th Jan 2020 but a pity I was not the in the first 100 queue and so didn't managed to get the goodie bag.
Don Don Donki has announced its plans to open 10 stores by this year, so be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled for more exciting news.
The quality of food impressed me. The service rendered was polite and pleasant. It's less likely to give Aburi-EN a miss if we are craving Wagyu Beef like this and that means we will be making a return trip too.
Wash all the food down with Kuro Goma Azuki Latte ($5.80), an aromatic blend of black sesame milk with red beans. Cap off the session with the refreshing Peach Sherbet ($7.80)!
What I like about this briyani is that it was not too heavy yet did the job of filling me up. Even though the flavors are not particularly outstanding, it is decent to say the least. For the price, I have nothing to complain about.
New at Jem. The noodles were quite crunchy, but not as much as I expected. They were coated in a nice and fairly deep soy sauce, much like that for soy sauce chicken, but a bit less sweet and intense. The wantons had crunchy prawn fillings with silky skin – nice.
Tsui Wah is an iconic cha chaan teng that hails from Hong Kong, best known for their condensed milk buns.
I was randomly walking though JEM today when I noticed that Kenny Rogers had nasi lemak (50 Jurong Gateway Road #B1-37, 6694-5073).
Other than the Famous Rotisserie-Roasted Chicken, Kenny Rogers Roasters’ menu will be featuring new dishes such as the OMG(Outragous, Mouthwatering, Guiltless) Unfried Fried Chicken, Kenny’s Nasi Lemak, Classic Macaroni & Cheese, Corn Muffin! Expect your favourites (such as their Cornbread) to make a glamorous return as well!
Cravings for a good Ayam Penyet meal were satisfied by our trip to JCube.
Authentic Hokkien Cuisine located in Jurong East.
Service rendered was normal, however quality and taste of food should be more of focus to improve on to live up to its authentic Hokkien's cuisine name.
Rumah Sayang, the brainchild of the team behind Red Ginger.
For simple and nice Donburi, I dont mind having Kogane Yama back in JEM again.
Kogane Yama would be on our minds if we are looking for a simple and nice Japanese restaurant in Jem, Jurong East.
If you are looking for pocket-friendly steak with some selection, you won't go wrong visiting iSteaks. I like that there is a good selection of sides to complement the main dish too.
