Crystal Jade Palace at Takashimaya Shopping Centre and Crystal Jade Golden Palace at Paragon mall has recently refreshed their menu with new tantalizing dishes crafted by Group Executive Chef Martin Foo. We were there for a dinner tasting and here are some of the highlights from the two restaurants:
Crystal Jade's fine dining restaurant, Crystal Jade Palace, has reopened its doors with a refreshed look and menu.
I couldn't really enjoy the different components in the husk together to associate it to the chendol dessert, as I ended up tackling the elements individually.
Was quite taken in by their braised pork knuckle in fermented bean curd sauce.
All in all, I must say that these dishes that we’ve tried were really beyond expectations, hats off to Chef Fung & his crew for curating & putting together such delicious creations.
Hopefully we’ll see more Kai Ducks around the island!
Overall, we think that the food quality (can’t say the same for drinks) at DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe is pretty good for a themed cafe.
Other fusion items which are also on their ‘Must Try’ list include the Demi-Glace Meat Sauce ($16.50) which has long-hour cooked special demi-glace meat sauce on top of minced beef and parmesan, and the Cino & Nara ($16.50) which is a combination of peperoncino and carbonara.

rice dumpling stuffed with pork, flavour's not bad but meat was a little dry-ish but the rice was moist and tender.
I would have given this a thumbs up if there were more bak kwa in the fried rice.
