Like Shabu Shabu, beat the egg and dip your meat and vegetables into the beaten egg mixture for a complete sukiyaki experience.
Tamoya Udon is known for its silky udon handmade fresh daily with ingredients imported from Japan.
Tonjiru Onsen Udon (house-made Red Miso soup) is slightly sweet but yet it was so yummy.
I was so happy to have this Haidilao Hotpot (海底捞火锅) at Clarke Quay on time for this promotion period from 27 Nov to 20 Dec 2023 (over already).
老实说这里的火锅虽然不错,但我认同最大的卖点其实就是绝佳的服务,有谁会不喜欢被当成上宾呢?
The good service was apparent from the time you are seated as the waiter offers you a ziplock bag for your phone and special wet wipes to clean your spectacle lenses! Feels kind of pampered.
This was generous plate of braised duck rice at $7.50. The duck was tender, had a good duck fragrance and a refined yet layered braise. The peanuts were soft and the cabbage tender and savoury. The Puning tofu was really soft, smooth and delicate, and felt velvety against the palate. Really nice.
Sin Chao Gardens Review: Teochew Restaurant at River Valley Singapore, Teochew porridge lunch with pictures of food and menu with prices
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Nothing particularly special about what they offered or were they outstanding.
The revamped and expanded menu at Kushikatsu Tanaka means there is something for everyone.
Gathering with a few friends over a drink and try out the new Autumn Seasonal Menu at Kushikatsu Tanaka is surely the best weekend activity.
This well-priced 8-course CNY menu is not without flaws–some dishes are similar and could have done with more varied styles of cooking–but, besides the last two dishes, the food is delectable and original and fun. My family enjoyed the meal.
Mimi Restaurant in Clark Quay is not like your typical Chinese restaurant. The upper floor dining hall is a stylish contemporary space in a historical building. The menu is interesting and prices are reasonable.
The Soon Hock was done perfectly. Tender, juicy with a gentle squeakiness to the bite.
If you’ve been missing Hong Kong, Tsui Wah at Clarke Quay has a great deal for you.
we can all become a tourist along Clarke Quay area and enjoy Hong Kong “Cha Chaan Teng” style afternoon tea at Tsui Wah.
Totally love the King Prawn in XO Sauce with Tossed Noodles which featured thin noodles that's cooked to a springy texture, and has none of that dreaded alkaline taste.
The Crispy Seafood Rice Roll ($8.80) is an unique take from the usual cheong fun. It has a delightful textural combination, starting from the smooth rice roll, crispy batter and succulent shrimp.
Prices may be on the premium end, but you get what you pay for. The food here is totally worth it; and the well-heeled agree.
Overall, although some dishes paled in comparison to the rest, VLV riverside still poses as a great option for a zi-char fix when one is in the vicinity.
We were thoroughly satiated and satisfied with our meal and would recommend repeat visits!
Service was great as well, personable, spontaneous and attentive.
The food was top notch and the interior was beautifully done up.
Overall, I had a good dining experience at Hanjip Korean Grill House where the dishes are consistently good, especially so for the quality of the grilled meats.
Hanjip Korean Grill House seeks to differentiate itself from your regular Korean BBQ house with its selection of premium beef, and private dining rooms that would not look out of place in a K-drama.
I know that I've had a lot of hot pot lately, but I needed lunch today, and this place happened to be nearby (6 Eu Tong Sen Street #03-87, 6221-5550). It seems to be a chain started by some Haidilao alumni, right across the river from the latter's original Clarke Quay location.
I liked the food, including a broth that was filled with a nice assortment of mushrooms, as well as a decently well-stocked seasoning bar.
I would say service here was decent, though not as over-the-top as HDL.
This is on the lunch menu at 2it & Drink, but I don't think it's on the main menu. Apparently this is a tradtional configuration of tuna and onions though, and it worked for me, especially since the tuna didn't remind me of childhood sandwiches.
The atmosphere was really casual. Reminded me of iO Italian Osteria because of both their naming styles and the setup.
Overall, 2it & drink is definitely a place I would recommend you try at least once.
This hotpot establishment in Clarke Quay shot to popularity for their wild innovation that saw dishes such as teddy bear broths and metre-long meat platters.
If you like over-the-top food presentation and spicy hotpot base, Spice World Hotpot is a worthy option to consider.
店内通风性好,不像一般火锅店弥漫着浓浓的气味,第一印象已经不错。
Other than fresh meat and vegetables, they also have a wide variety of chocolates, healthy snacks, and even a range of “guilt-free” ice cream that immediately caught my eyes.
Chocolatey, woody and strong latte. Good stuff.
Food served at Little Farm Cafe doesn’t come cheap. It may be justify for the quality they offer.
Definitely a treat for matcha and strawberry lovers! And I think the price is reasonable with the spread given.
Highly raved for its exquisite dessert series, Lewin Terrace at Fort Canning has launched their matcha, as well as Ichigo (strawberry) dessert buffet previously on separate occasions.
Variety aside, the quality and taste of the dessert items were executed excellently - perfect for berries/chocolate dessert lovers to indulge in for a sweet sweet Christmas this year.
Bunny feels $46 for 200gm is not expensive but I feel it's exp for such a tough meat!
Occupying the former space of Five & Dime café, this no-frills eatery offers just 38 seats including a handful of slim counter seats that overlook the bar where Pang assembles his avant garde desserts. The beverage menu is simple but spot-on – expect cider, beer, cocktails and a short list of wines.
We really love Fat Lulu's and their creative brunch dishes. Honestly the cafe-brunch fatigue is real and this gives us hope really!
We liked the beef tartare from the last time so we ordered it again like the bisque. That gherkin-y beef tartare.
The Ranch has pretty good lobster bisque.
The Ranch Steakhouse prides themselves for providing great quality steaks at affordable prices.
I am still of the opinion that the original restaurant at Keong Saik grills better eels.
I am back here again to check out their seasonal offerings.
A must-try is the expensive but drool-worthy Kaisen x Histumabushi by Teppei and Man Man ($32.50++).
I think it is worth every penny to upgrade your meal this way.
Don Don Donki The Central Clarke Quay is the sixth Singapore outlet of the supermarket that refers to itself as the “Japan Discount King”.
This was as good as I had imagined it to be. Peach was ripe and each bite was a deluge of sweet peach juices on cream. Damn, it was so good.
I haven't been to CiBO in ages, and I kinda forgot that they do a decent job of keeping their pasta cooked nice and firm. We were happy with our lunch today; and fortunately, they don't make their pasta sweet like La Mensa does.
I haven't been to CiBO in ages, and I kinda forgot that they do a decent job of keeping their pasta cooked nice and firm.
The real reason why we came today was for their red wine risotto which was a board special. It's also okay-ish.
