Ayam Buah Keluak (19.9) was a tad oily, and the lack of colour reflected in lack in richness. Perhaps it did not have enough of the nut.
Godmama at Funan Mall serves Modern Peranakan food.
The highlight of the meal for me was the Nasi Ulam. I have never had this meal before but the classic Nyonya herb rice won me over with its melange of Peranakan classic herbs and spices. Could be a little dry and herb-y for some but I found it to be super tasty.
rice dumpling stuffed with pork, flavour's not bad but meat was a little dry-ish but the rice was moist and tender.
I would have given this a thumbs up if there were more bak kwa in the fried rice.
I wouldn't mind having this again.
The relaxation of safe management measures and allowing up to five persons to dine means I have been meeting my friends quite often over the...

Their hae mee was still outstanding like we remembered it. Probably the only food from this region that they did right by.
Dining at 藝 yì is always an experience, and should be tried at least once.
The fatty Steamed Cod Fillet is cooked to perfection excellently paired with fermented black beans and olives brightening the cod fish's buttery flavour.
On the whole, 藝 Yì By Jereme Leung offers tasty Chinese food, a lovely dining environment, and excellent service.
The overall dining experience was pleasant and with the attentive and friendly services as well as quality food, I do not mind being back again for more.
Enjoyed their ankimo. Their ponzu jelly wasn't particularly intense so one tasted mostly ankimo.
Koji Sushi Bar serves up a localized version of sushi and sashimi, and omakase at dinner.
curry not tasty & puff a bit chewy doughy.
Singapore’s real estate has always been hot property and with the country being a free economy; many shops that existed in the past are now ...
Kopi gu you or coffee with butter is the hottest thing here.
Didn't think much of their gyozas. Ordinary at best with soggy wings.
I believe that Afuri's Yuzu collection stands out from the crowd.
At Afuri Ramen, orders are placed on an iPad that’s kept under the table, making the process of getting your food very efficient, despite the huge crowd.
there was a S$28 重庆烤鱼promotion include 2 drinks & 2 rice.
Riverside Grilled Fish 江边城外 has since expanded to 54 outlets in China with Singapore being the first Riverside Grilled Fish set up outside of China in Singapore.
Will try another fish with another sauce the next time.
Zam Zam's nasi goreng mutton uses diced mutton cubes. Meat was nicely scorched but dried up.
They've a nice creamy kurma on the menu too. A good rendition but definitely not the best around. The mutton was a dusky pink and fork tender.
I am looking forward to my next trip back to Zam Zam to try their Murtabak and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will not make the wrong order again.
Who say healthy eating can’t be delicious and Chef Albert will prove you wrong.
I am filled with awe for Tiong Bahru Bakery Diner New Menu. Lots of vegetarian dishes are this delicious. Who say healthy eating can’t be delicious and Chef Albert will prove you wrong.
I highly recommend this place if you are wondering if it is worth a trip! I'll be back there myself
Inle Myanmar Restaurant sells delicious and homely food, making it a great place for people to get acquainted with Burmese cuisine.
My take on my virgin experience on Myanmar food at Inle Myanmar Restaurant
If are not conservative about food, a place worth exploring.
If you’re a fan of dim sum and drinking, or just curious about how the xiao long bao will turn out, then come give it a try!
I find the Tipsy Surprise Xiao Long Bao ($18.80) an ingenious creation by the culinary team.
Paradise Dynasty Funan features a plush setting of bold red furniture, textured walls, with contrasting green gemstone panels and beautiful rose gold fittings that adds to the brand’s luxe setting.
Gather certainly is a good addition to Raffles Hotel as the casual cafe brand helps bring the luxurious hotel brand closer to the hearts of more people.
Gather is a new and upcoming cafe that exudes a colonial yet modern vibe.
Gather is a spot that is likely to get crowded in the days to come; and with that, we would like to take the chance to wish them all the best in what has to come!
The best part? It is halal-certified so our Muslim friends can enjoy the dim sum, too!
But though the food was decent, there are many other dim sum places that can satisfy my tummy better.
The Dim Sum Place also offers double boiled soup, noodles, claypot items, roasted meats and a variety of sweet desserts.
I really enjoyed my time at Atlas.
Singapore’s cocktail bars scene has seen many interesting new entries but when it comes to sheer grandeur, Atlas is hard to beat. See it to believe it.
I want to emphasize that this is not to say the food isn’t good; The dishes are still tasty but the food is problematic and the problems could easily be solved. For that reason, based on what we ate today, we won’t return for the food but we will definitely be back for the stellar cocktails.
The result was this delicious Alfredo pasta.
I highly recommend every pasta and Italian food fan to come taste Tipo!
With interesting pasta made from scratch such as Dill & Lemon Fettuccine and Saffron Fusilli, Tipo Pasta Bar does sound promising, and perhaps need some fine-tuning on their cooking processes.
The Butcher’s Block is a great contender alongside with all the other big names of steak houses in Singapore and should be right up there on your list for a great date night or a splurge with friends.
I like the dining ambience at the Butcher’s Block and while prices are relatively steep for dinner, there is a good selection of premium cuts of meat from the ala carte menu.
If you're celebrating a special occasion here, be sure to let the staff know beforehand!
A friend had recommended Ajumma’s Korean Restaurant when she knew I will be going to Funan Mall , but it was after lunch hours and the di...
Good quality causal Korean dining in Funan. Ajumma’s is worth trying, if you have patience to queue.
The prices here don’t cost you an arm or a leg, but they are definitely on the higher end of the spectrum for desserts.
Monarchs & Milkweed Gelato has certainly left their mark on us. Quality ingredients, warm service and alluring ambience — we’re absolutely sold.
Monarchs & Milkweed Gelato is a spot we would really love to revisit to try out all the different flavours that they have to offer
NOKA by Tippling Club is located on Funan’s rooftop on the 7th level, where they serve contemporary Japanese small dishes, Tuna Taku, Morokyu
