Though food from Took Lae Dee is pocket friendly and Authentic, cooked by Thai Chef, I find that its a standard fare. Pricing-wise, it's not cheap in my opinion.
Affordable and satisfying!
Took Lae Dee in Tai Seng has an air-conditioned dining area designed around an open kitchen.
Food at Fei Zhu Lok Lok is focused on Malaysian style lok lok, with a range of meat, vegetables, and seafood on skewers, served with a range of sauces. Choose either boiled in salt water, or deep-fried and seasoned with salt and chili powder; the default is deep-fried.
Ambience at Fei Zhu Lok Lok draws on the coffee shop it occupies in the middle of a light industrial estate in the Tai Seng area of Singapore.
Lok lok is not a type of food to blow your mind, but feels so shiok to eat anyway.
Other than the new Crater Cheese Honey Cake, you can look out for BreadTalk’s other light and fluffy cakes which include the popular Pong Pong Cake with a salted egg yolk twist, and the recently-launched Chocolate Chiffon made with chocolate of 55% cocoa, Belgian cocoa powder and topped with chocolate chips.
第一街潮州鱼汤与BreadTalk集团合作,去年底在BreadTalk IHQ的大食代开档。
Do come early before they are sold out and be prepared to queue for at least 10 to 15 minutes!
Lovely old school fish soup run by a friendly couple in an obsure canteen located in an industrial park.
The modern European menu I had didn't showcase their philosophy of embracing local and cultural Asian flavours.
I was surprised by the Fried Hiroshima Oysters (Kaki Fry) with an eggy house tartare sauce (+$8). The oysters were plump and juicy and exploded with freshness. Recommended!
Having tried some of the items on the brycnh menu of Allium, we liked how the various dishes were simple, hearty, yet delicious — well thought-out dishes with familiar local flavours yet with a modern twist that is ever so refined and elegant.
Overall, I really liked the meals from Nutrition Kitchen as every evening, I look forward to the delivery of the meals to see how each menu actually looks.
Food at SMAC BBQ is Northeastern Chinese cuisine, focused on grilled skewers or chuan chuan. Ingredients are fresh, with most being marinated in their signature spice mix, then perfectly grilled within a short wait.
This certainly looks like a café to chill after lunch, or meet clients. If I may suggest, what’s missing are free WIFI and power sockets for it to be a more work-friendly space.
You’re definitely in for a treat when you visit Everton Creamery! This is a great spot to chill with your friends or co-workers after a long day, so do drop by and give them a try.
While specializing in Fried Chicken, their 6 pcs of chicken on the platter said it best. Their Original Fried Chicken is crispy and flavourful not to mention the Grilled Tangy Orange and Korean Spicy Sauce Coated Fried Chicken.
Get your fix of delicious fried chicken in a coffee shop in Tai Seng! They also have pasta, rice bowls and snacks. Read more.
It is definitely a different form of private dining I have attended so far.
Portions were on the smaller side but we did give our feedback and word has it that he has already changed his portions.
Look at the sheer number of noodle dishes available! There is really something for everyone!
In order to appease my inner fat kid, I’d definitely return to Pint And Dine for their mukbang buffet, probably jio-ing a larger group of friends to all share the fun as there’s something for everyone here.
Cafe by day and bistro by night, Pint & Dine is a Korean Fusion Western Cafe that has recently opened within Kensington Square.
In fact I was rather disappointed as I thought the taste will hit my expectation as they are already so popular just with the flagship stall. I felt its over-rated. Perhaps I have travelled from the west with a higher expectation but considering this fish soup, its pretty ordinary. There are better quality fish soup with better price out there, thus nothing to rave about. On the other hand, I think I will go down to their original stall for a try too.

Nice meaty mushroomy sauce enveloping soft bitey noodles, with fresh meat and fragrant stewed mushrooms. Feels like 真材实料, even the meaty soup.
The ample bar bites and decent range of drinks means this place is great for after-work chilling with friends or colleagues.
Meats & Malt’s menu is quite promising. All the mains are around $15 – $18++, which is really quite affordable for a restaurant/bistro.
I will be back for more of the herbal Bak Kut Teh for a comforting meal in the east.
All in all, the ambience was good, music not loud, and nice selection of alcohol & spirits.
With the successful opening of its first outlet at Pacific Plaza, Singapore, Tsuta has opened its second outlet at Tai Seng serving its michelin star ramen.
