The ambiance was laidback, barnlike decor, creating a comfy space for us to catch up.
I would never put up with the crowds and queue at The Red Beanbag when it’s business as usual, especially when there are so many other decent places to eat at Publika. These are strange times, so now the worst things about this place are no longer an issue. I am fully aware that immediately getting a table at the height of lunchtime is a rare, temporary state for this restaurant. This stroke of luck will never happen again as more people become aware this place is open for business and fear of the outbreak dissipates. For now, this hectic brunch spot is now a peaceful cafe.
Order the The Atlantic (RM27), in-house cured salmon served with two poached eggs, ikura, wilted Australian baby spinach, sauteed mushrooms and fluffy brioche toast, drizzled with Hollandaise sauce. The presentation and flavours were absolutely spot on. And that brioche toast is so good!
There is an unlimited BBQ buffet at RM 40 per person, which I think is pretty worth it, The meat is pretty good, and the side dishes are okay. This place is crowded on weekends night, but the..
整体来说就只有烤肉这部份我可以接受,别的都强差人意,没有下次。
There might not be fancy slick furniture’s or sophisticated equipped tabletop grills like many other Korean BBQ joints, but this place is almost always full and packed with patrons. If you are looking for a good Korean charcoal barbecue fix, then look no further. This one here is considerably well round up with all the classics including delicious spicy pork, seafood, and marinated chicken alongside appetising banchans.
We love the Hokkaido Pork Don here. Pork belly that’s grilled to perfection with lovely caramelisation and char.
Verdict:Certainly no hesitation in recommending the Hokkaido Pork Don here. Service was warm and prices are fair, revisit is a must!
店员安排我们坐在室内,靠近厨房的位子 嗯,就有点热(😰)) 优点是可以观赏免费的火秀
Verdict: It’s an ideal destination to consider if you want to chill with nice wines and good food in a posh yet easy-going atmosphere. Certainly a great place to wind down your evening with a little wine sipping and light conversation with friends or colleagues after a hard day’s work.
Reasons to visit Positano Risto, Publika: pork and alcohol-free Italian cuisine.
We highly recommend their Viva La Pizza Roma Style Thin Crust Pizzas, especially Positano Super Supreme Calzone RM59.95. Generous portion, great for sharing. A redefined version of traditional calzone, constructed into open faced with 8 handcrafted pockets filled with mushrooms and beef pastrami. Rocket salad, Burrata cheese, Parmesan cheese, Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Turkey ham, beef pepperoni further topped over crispy, thin crust pizza base.
Main: Chicken Milanese Using the healthy chicken breast, the meat is served in thin slices leaving you with the moist and juicy texture. Every mouthful of the meat is indeed tempting and juicy. Love every bites of these chicken Milanese.
Reasons to visit The Eighth Avenue Publika: fantastic new cocktail menu; must try The Yum List, Beachside Daiquiri and the Wild Child; a well-balanced menu offering a good range of healthy vegetarian all the way up to decadent porkiness; must-order the spinach salad, pork satay, BBQ ribs and carrot cake.
With the concept of gastro bar, The Eighth Avenue is serving your favourite booze with a twist of authentic creations and a fusion mix.
It’s a great place for drinks and to settle down on some comfort food. Whether you favour beer, wine or serious cocktails, a beer-and-shot special or a transporting glass of wine, Eighth Avenue has a game-changing bar to slake your thirst.
Lee Narrow Street 三间庄猪肉丸粉 is having a promotion until the end of March 2021. MYR 10 dishes are now having a price of MYR 8.50 nett so we ordered a set of 3jc Mee hoon for his dine-in brunch at MYR 8.50 nett.
Sometimes in my life, we don’t need to eat fancy food all the time. Some comfort food like dried chili pan mee is good enough. This is Kin Kin Pan Mee Publika Eat Food Village and other Kin Kin Pan Mee outlets too!
Chica Bonita is always busy, so I was shocked at how disappointing the food was. Looking around, I did notice that none of the other tables had ordered tacos. I liked the enchiladas, so perhaps the more Tex-Mex food like nachos and chimichangas are the thing to order here. I wanted to like this place since I love Tex-Mex food, but I doubt we’ll return. Eating at Chica Bonita is an expensive experience, and if they can’t even get tacos right, that’s a bad sign.
Reasons to visit Chica Bonita Mexican Kitchen & Bar Publika: 12 hours of happy (!) from 10 am until 10 pm; try the Desperados tequila-flavoured beer; lots of meat-free options; must-order Enchiladas Ta Loca Calabaza and Rich liked the “chips” – La Bomba Nachos.
[Halal] Délifrance is back! We enjoyed the lovely French pastries with the Peach Cheese Danish being the pièce de résistance!
In our opinion, the pièce de résistance was the Peach Cheese Danish (RM9). The pastry was superbly flaky, topped with luscious peach slices, with cream on the inside. It was lovely – and quite comparable to the popular Peach Strudel at Kenny Hills Baker
Not many cafes offer croissants, and when they do, they’re too dry, too moist or too small. The coffee is forgettable, but Delifrance does have great tasting authentic French pastries. I wouldn’t call it cheap, but the portions are reasonable. There is such a wide variety that I’ll be coming back to Delifrance when I’m craving an afternoon sweet.
Instead of ordering 2 piece of meat. You can order 1 large pork loin, and order a gozen packs, ie additional pax (of rice, soup, cabbage) for only RM13.90 That is how you can have tokatsu for 2 under RM55
Wafu Negioroshi Hire Katsu Set comes with Rice, Tonjiru and Pickles (Free Refill) but the portion is just nice for me yet I cannot resist myself from refilling their cabbage. I love their cabbage with roasted sesame dressing. It's my all-time favorite in Tonkatsu By Ma Maison. It took some time to get our food as the place remains busy during our entire stay on Friday Night. Flavorful, moist and tender meat with crispy crust. Yum!! Wafu Negioroshi Hire Katsu Set @ RM 30.90
Their Hainanese Pork Chop is one of the latest release in Ante where one can now enjoy the premium pork that is topped with the sweet and yet sourish blend of tomato base sauce. They are absolutely a must to try where the portion comes pretty generous and the meat is tender and juicy. Yummz!
In conjunction with Merdeka, ANTE is launching a special Nasi Kerabu Pork Rendang available in both Publika and 1 Utama outlets. This month long promotional dish is available only from the 1st of August to the 31st of August 2018 at RM23.90.
Reasons to visit Ante Publika: the cooking is progressive and the ante is always being upped. Although the menu is evolving to include healthy options, seafood, and chicken; the pork is still king. Faves of the day and must-haves include Iberico Baby Ribs, Pork Terrine and Crispy Skin Miso Pork Belly.
Journal By Plan B Kuala Lumpur; Journal By Plan B, Jalan Dutamas; Get Menu, Reviews, Contact, Location, Phone Number, Maps and more for Journal By Plan B Restaurant on Zomato
When plan A fails, try Plan B- and I mean literally a restaurant labeling themselves as Plan B. Its a creative urban gourmet restaurant that offers asian, new American and Australian cafe cuisine paired with the stunning decor of chic and modern- which creates an ultimate spot for get togethers, dessert getaways or even parties.
Would return to this place for special events only, like birthdays or a special date ;) It was a little pricey for my budget. I guess this place is awesome for the unique atmosphere and deco. If only this place got set menu for lunches then it would have been better!
♥Verdict: The set meal that we had were indeed justifiable with the generous portion and I even skipped my dinner after the lunch. Although the side dishes slightly missed the mark, but overall the food was satisfying for our non-fussy standard.

In Japan, izakaya is a type of informal Japanese gastropub where colleagues and friends gather for drinks and food after work. Situated on a bustling row within Publika is Robataya, a restaurant offering the Izakaya dining experience, with a vast menu comprising of sashimi, sushi, tempura as well as seafood and vegetables cooked on the robatayaki.
Overall, the food are very reasonable and the must orders are green ribbons pasta, sweet granny baked egg and magherita pizza
Their house famous Fahrenheit 600 Pizza was another blissful dish. Priced at merely RM 27.90, it was heavenly and I loved the crust that was so soft and good. My rating for this shall be 9/10.
Overall I have a really pleasant experience dining at OKONOMI with all of my favorite dishes here. Chocolate and Matcha lover might be fall in love with all of their desserts here because they are the perfect place to fix all your craving. Sushi Rolls is also a must try here at OKONOMI, just have fun customized your own sushi roll with friends too!
D's crazy about Matcha flavour everything. Okonomi's matcha lava cake came out as the top recommendation and I knew this would be the perfect little birthday cake for the birthday man!
Publika has never lacked interesting eatery. So what makes Okonomi stood out amongst the other competing Japanese restaurants in the vicinity of the bustling mall? Okonomi, which translates into 'as you like it' in English, is the first ever Japanese restaurant in KL which allows you to customize your sushi rolls to your own preferences! From bases to toppings, there are 40 different fillings, 16 types of toppings, and 20 homemade sauces for you to choose from! This unique and daring idea has attracted throngs of food adventurers since they first opened about 2 years back. However, Okonomi has since evolved into a restaurant that serves more than just customised sushi rolls. The Okonomi's innovative team is always thriving and pushing their own limits to bring surprises to their patrons! Using urban Japanese cooking methods coupled with modern cuisine ideas and borrowing some ingredients from the western menu, they are finally proud to present you the all new 2017 menu which features some really exciting dishes!
Tori Karaage (RM 13) The deep fried chicken is one of our favourite too! Enjoy till the fullest the deep fried chicken which is packed with the robust flavours, juicy meat and crispy skin. Perfect indulgence.
Another not to be missed item from the Buffet menu is the Wagyu Steak (RM118.00 per plate for ala-carte). For Wagyu lovers, this is a must-order in a medium-rare cooking style. Although the steak comes with a Goma (Sesame Dressing), as a fan of Wagyu will attest, that the best way to taste a nice cut of Wagyu Beef is just by grilling it with salt and pepper with no sauce to cover the natural taste and goodness of the beef cut.
Priced at only RM 288+ [adult] & RM 188+ [child] ~ this is a steal for all WAGYU BEEF lovers. YUGO HOUSE allows diners to stay a maximum of two hours [120 minutes] of the dining experience.
I don’t know much about coffee and their non-brunch food isn’t too exciting, but Coffee Stain has excellent sweets and pastries. Coffee Stain has realised that their Japanese souffles are the most unique food they offer. If I’m ever in the mood for pancakes from now on, these are my go-to.
9/10 Stars Price :Reasonable Services : Friendly Environment : Cozy&Cooling Food Type : Western/Dessert/Coffee Status : NON-Halal
ORIENTAL DUCK EGG NOODLES (MYR 17.90) Malaysian favourite “Maggi” redefined ultimately! Noodles are stir-fried till flavorfully springy with the right amount of spice, before pairing it with nicely done meat slices.
The bestselling item here at MONA is the Salted egg butter chicken (RM17.90) - which was first created in 2015 at JIBRIL. The chicken pieces are coated in batter, deep fried and then coated in a rich, thick salted egg butter sauce. The salted egg flavour is unmistakable and will certainly delight the salted egg lover in you. This is served with white rice, lettuce and extra sauce on the side.
Overall, we have a superb dinner at Yakiniku YUI. We all know that A5 Japanese Wagyu beef doesn’t come cheap, but Yakiniku YUI makes it affordable for those who have soft spot for this high quality meat. Will be back again!
Next in line was the super thin sliced Beef Tongue! I was never into Beef Tongue (RM 25) because of its distinctive smell but after tasting the one’s from YUI, I will never look back on how I taste Beef Tongue ever again. It taste perfect when paired with lemon and salted Sea weed. Hands down!
