Short version - overall, the food remains the quality it used to be, and if anything has improved in tongue titillation terms. Chef Evert has clearly been busy researching and has assembled a darned good team there in the kitchen. In contrast, the service appears to need large and quick attention and determine single chains of command in both food and wine service terms.
Soleil is a pretty premium place to dine so it’s only fitting that it’s located in the very upmarket neighbourhood of Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur. The food is fresh and unique – thanks to Chef Evert’s skills and creativity which sees him successfully update traditional European flavours and fuse them with some Asian ingredients resulting in some really stunning dishes indeed!
