During our last visit there I ordered a cup of Healthy Organic Nasi Lemak at MYR 15.90 nett. Can you see the layers? From the bottom to top - millet (acting as rice), roasted peanuts, tempeh, cherry tomatoes, slices of cucumber (kyuri), hard boiled egg, assorted salad leaves and a small container of healthy sambal that tastes like sweetish peanut sauce (those satay dips).

BIRCH BENEDICT RM26 The eggs were poached to perfection, where the egg white was firm and bouncy while the yolk was runny. The pull pork was another surprise. It was incredibly flavourful, with a hint of spiciness that tantalizes your taste bud. The fresh and crunchy greens were a great contrast to the soft and chewy texture of the pulled chicken.

We had to restrained ourselves from immediately diving into the Kyushu Wagyu Rib Loin (200g RM268 & 300g RM378) at sight. Drool-worthy at first glance, this Japanese premium wagyu screamed flavour. So, this BEAUTEOUS piece of meat, the Tomahawk, sells for about RM400 for a 1.2-1.3kg slab. This one served to us, which can feed six people more than adequately, is around 1.6kg. Charred to perfection in a Josper Oven, (from Spain), this weapon of choice is superb.

Pho is my ultimate favourite Vietnamese dish, and the version at Super Saigon is so good with its clear, flavorful broth. I went for the Medium Rare Sliced Beef & Tendon Pho (RM18.90), with an add-on of firm, juicy beef balls (RM4). I like how the beef is now served rare, so it cooks ever so slightly when you dunk it in the soup for the perfect doneness. It's wonderful that they offer unlimited beansprouts and Thai basil to go with your pho too.What a satisfying bowl of noodles!
