We truly enjoyed our afternoon at the new location of Nobu Kuala Lumpur. The food was superb, the location is a stunner, and the service was fabulous. One could easily slip into this accessible location for a bite to eat at the sushi bar, a drink at the inviting cocktail bar, a meal with family and friends, or a private meal in the 12-person private room overlooking the park. This new location has everything you would expect from the high standards of Nobu, right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Overall, I do say this place does live up to the hype.
For example we really like this Unagi Bao RM28. Small in size, big in flavours. Spicy, succulent unagi contrasted by crunchiness of deep fried nori, flavours lifted up with salted egg crumble and julienne cucumber for a refreshing crisp that comes in just right. Served over a basket of sweet potato chips.
THE LINGUIST (MYR 30) Sautéed Prawns and Clams with Chili Linguine, Garlic and Rocket Huge and fresh prawns were spotted!

French Toast is kinda like must have for me. Love the brioche toast as it is done to perfection. sauce is not too sweet yet just nice.
Cappuccino was rich & have bold coffee taste that it goes perfectly well with the Burnt Cheesecake. Cappuccino @ RM 11
BIRCH BENEDICT RM26 The eggs were poached to perfection, where the egg white was firm and bouncy while the yolk was runny. The pull pork was another surprise. It was incredibly flavourful, with a hint of spiciness that tantalizes your taste bud. The fresh and crunchy greens were a great contrast to the soft and chewy texture of the pulled chicken.

CHICKEN Chasseur | Spatzle | Autumn Vegetables CHICKEN, main course that you will hardly go wrong with. Fried chicken leg done right – crispy crackly skin, shielding juicy, tender meat beneath. What raise our attention are these homemade German spaetzle, a type of pasta made from eggs, flour, water and salt. Mini and doughy, goes well with chasseur sauce served along.
Reasons to check out the reopening of Skillet at 163 KL and their modern European cuisine menu: exciting seasonal menu; contemporary and stylish setting; beautifully plated food; must try the Venison Pithivier and do have a look at their juice pairing by Chris Chung here.
Next is the Lobster, an absolutely flawless dish, both in terms of presentation and flavours. Extremely pleasing to the eye, the butter poached lobster is embellished with celery, apple, edible flowers and rutabaga (swede) with mascarpone. To go with the lobster, a sauce made from fermented apples with fish broth is poured tableside, finished with a few drops of kombu oil. Beautiful, delicate flavours.. loved it!

Luckin Kopi Cafe -the newest modern kopitian behind Kwai Chain Hong ( near Petaling Street Kuala Lumpur ). Introduces a menu specializes in Local Street food that familiar with, plus unique delicacies fused with chef’s very own creativity.
Weekday lunch set at MYR 14.80 nett with free unlimited refill Luckin Kopi Kaw. I chose Indo Mee Goreng and Ayam Berempah (Deep fried Chicken marinated with spices). This is a satisfying "carby" lunch.
High class Pakistan food, we probably ordered too much. Food is nice, but i wasn't impressed by anything in particular. Maybe too expensive while the food is not good enough for the price point.
Overall verdict: Food is not bad. It is my first time having Sri Lankan food so I don’t have a comparable review to make. I think the flavours are very similar to Indian food. So if you like briyani rice and chicken curry, you’d probably enjoy this.
My recent visit to Aliyaa is a satisfying experience exploring flavours from the region, and the best part is that we get to save a lot on this meal by enjoying the Buy 1 FREE 1 Main Course deal via The ENTERTAINER App! In conjunction to its 10th anniversary, Aliyaa Island Restaurant will be hosting a Jaffna Food Festival, a showcase of over 50 dishes from the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. A special guest chef will be joining the team to create authentic Jaffna cuisine throughout the 4-day period. Whereas the restaurant will also transform into a ‘Little Jaffna’ throughout the festival with traditional decorations that will take you on a ‘Journey to Yalpanam’. This buffet-style celebration will be available for Lunch and Dinner, with the first session open on the evening of October 30th until November 2nd. It is RM148++ per pax inclusive of a traditional welcome drink.
Overall, I loved it! The charcoal cooking process enhance the flavour. Initially I have doubts seeing all the foreigner workers cooking and preparing the dish, but I was wrong.
The food was great, the prices were reasonable and seeing the claypots being exposed to fire was the artistic flair to cap it all off.
Food was good, yawwww. Very good. The pork sausage + chicken + salted fish + rice = Da’ bomb! As you mix the rice, scooping the bottom, the crunchy slightly burnt part mix with the soft, moist part – a perfect combo. The chicken pieces came infused with a ‘kechuppy’ flavor and it literally falls of the bone, the pork sausage provided a sweetness that complimented the saltiness from the salted fish. Truly satisfying to mix it all up and having a taste, you’d get a burst of flavors.
And one must have included Chef Azrul’s homemade gulai kawah kambing, grilled whole lamb and more. The grilled whole lamb is one of our favorites this year where the lamb is perfectly grilled with the tender juicy meat without any gammy taste at all.

Reasons to order wood-fired pizza @ Fook Kuala Lumpur: all pizzas are 11 inches and excellent value for money for the quality of ingredients, portion and skill of the chef; the setting is beautiful but you can also easily order delivery and stay safely in your home; must order the Margherita; cocktails go down a dream.
Seafood Bisque is interesting as to me it taste a bit like modern laksa base that is pack with different types of ingredient.
We ended our meal with the lovely desserts which is the heavenly combination of both black sesame and green tea. The Sesame panna cotta served with green tea ice cream is a perfect combination and absolutely delicious.
Their new head Chef Razis and assistant Chef Ujang have come up with some hearty traditional items in the theme this year, SIMPLY MALAY. The buffet starts on 9th May until 31st May, and is priced at RM120++ per person.
I have been to Bijan on probably 2 occasions before this but to attend events held there… Bijan is a beautiful restaurant offering a unique dining experience to please the most discerning palates… and seriously, I mean it!!
This luscious spread of Ramadhan buffet by the whimsical Malay Fine Dine enclave is priced at MYR120++ per pax and is available starting from 9th to 31st May 2019, 7pm till 930 pm. Thou shall get to enjoy the sumptuous buffet feast at only MYR 110 nett per person!
The pho soup was very flavorful, with lime juice squeeze into soup, it brought more flavor out from the soup. Very appetizing and can’t stop drinking it with the rice noodle. Didn’t feel thirsty after the meal (hear say indicator whether excessive MSG was used 🙂 ). The beef slices were tender even though it were well done.
Sauteed Sliced Lamb with lemongrass, onions & crispy spring roll RM18.90 The lamb was really nicely sauteed, it was fragrant and flavourful without overpowering the natural flavour of the lamb, but still keeping the natural flavour at a minimum, so the overall olfactory experience was above satisfactory.
Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi tastes delicious. The sauce has a good kick of spicy in it and all the ingredients goes well together. However, my boyfriend commented that the chicken tastes frozen to him. Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi @ RM 12.90
One of my favourite spots for dinner is located in the famous Jalan Alor night market street which is home to many local and international cuisine and street snacks. I visit Jalan Alor almost every…
The key dinner dish worth mentioning was the 干香沙鱼 Kam Heong Shark meat, spicy and interesting but meat seems similar to Stingray (I think)!
First to arrive was the Lala soup (RM18).. the portion was pretty reasonable and we enjoyed the fresh clams as well as the lightly spiced soup with hints of ginger and chilli.
I do not recommend Bo Dining. This place seems to live off of people who get more joy from sitting in a luxurious, pretentious space than actually eating great food. At Bo Dining, you’re mostly paying for the ambience and the “Instagram fee.” There are other brunch spots in the city that look nice but have much tastier food.
The food at Bo won’t blow you away, but it’s generally of a high standard and not too high a price. The ambience is pleasant and the staff are professional – we even had a party here pre-Covid, so I’m very happy to recommend it.
This is indeed my kind of favorites. The lovely plate of seafood goodness in one plate where we are enjoying the delicious XL White Clams, Octopus Tentacles, Tiger Prawns, Mussels, Tomato Seafood Soup with the Grilled Ciabatta. The dish is just so nice and seafood are superbly fresh and juicy.
