“Dendeng Balado” Beef with Kaffir Lime Chili & Lemon Basil (MYR 67) Another highlight would be this long hour braised beef cutlet. They were so tender and succulent, whereby each bite of the meat was very well and evenly marinated with intense flavour from the spice. I guess the picture does not do justice to this dark-coloured spiced meat, but trust me- it was really good and thou should not miss ordering this whenever patronizing Mama San.

Growing up as an Asian and have barely left our country for an extended period of time all my life makes me love Asian food more than anything else. And the latest eatery I was anticipating to add into my go-to list of Asian fusion restaurants was Duddha, which opened early this year, taking up the last unit at the stretch of al-fresco dining street at Suria KLCC.

I don't understand, their food ain't fantastic to be charging prices like Chillis, it's slightly better than Pappa Rich perhaps but charging rocket high prices. If you deliver the right portion it would make much more sense. Sorry Dome, doesn't make sense for a cafe to charge that kind of price. Still, there are a lot of patrons are fine with paying something that's not great in value. Although I have to admit, their food quality is satisfactory. At least the money did not go down the drain.

Salted Egg with Kunyit Sotong, 13 ringgit. However, between the fish and sotong dish – I fancied the ‘sotong’ dish more. The squids were finger licking good. Just like the fish, the it was marinated in turmeric as well and boy was it flavorful. Just look at them ‘sotongs’ , yummmm! It was all crunchy on the outside and all soft and chewy on the inside. Now, this dish, I’d certainly give it another go. It certainly provided me with a burst of flavors. Loved it.
