Pesto Pasta with Onsen egg lunch set at MYR 15.90 nett
I only had eyes, however, for the Cheezy Meltdown (RM19). The sandwich was all I had hoped for โ cheesy goodness with a good balance of textures. The cheese tasted a lot like the KFC cheese sauce, and got a little overwhelming after a while. Even one slice was very filling. If youโre a small eater, I suggest getting this to share.
The noodle was okay but the tom yum flavor was rather mild โ as in, you can hardly taste it. If I were to close my eyes and taste it, tom yum mee hoon would not be the first thing Iโd say to describe it. That being said, as a basic dish of noodles, it was pretty nice, worth the RM 3.50, I suppose.

For folks in PJ, Kwong Wah Ais Kacang at Happy Mansion serves up a good version of cendol that hits the spot squarely. A bowl will set you back RM 5.50, and thereโs often a queue on hot weekend afternoon. But if you love cendol the way I do, this should satisfy.

The Pork Rendang is so-so delicious - the aromatic rendang flavour cooked with fresh herbs & spices penetrated into the tender organic pork thus making it very delectable to eat. The Sambal, on the other hand, is not too spicy with a mixture of sweet and savoury!

The Fried Mee Hoon was my favorite. The way it was cooked, it brought me back in time. The noodles had a slightly charred/burnt taste to it which only added to its appeal. Besides the noodles itself, do expect a generous portion of chicken bits, prawns, fish cakes, green pepper, taugeh, onions. This dish sure was yummy, there was nothing left on the plate by the time I was done with it.
Set lunch: Black Pepper Fish Fillet Roll with Iced Lime Juice (I requested for no sugar so this drink was very sour but I finished it) - MYR 16.90 nett. Initially I wanted to order the grilled fish fillet so I asked about the type of fish that they used and was told that for grilled fish, they use dory fish but for this roll, they use pollock fish so I changed my mind.
I have nasi lemak with curry chicken cause I was craving for something 'sinful'. Pretty good and it helps to satisfied my craving. However I do wished it was a bit spicier though. All in all, the food is decent and still reasonable price.
The Petai Fried Rice was pretty good. 24 ringgit may seem quite steep to some of you but do bear in mind that it comes in a large portion. WE werenโt too hungry as we had a heavy breakfast just a few hours prior, which was why we ended up with fried rice and noodles, instead of rice with meat and vegetables. The โSmallโ option for fried rice literally had enough to feed 2 peeps. No joke. It would have been too much for just one person. The fried rice had loads of petai in it, which I loved. Always having to run off to one meeting after next, indulging in petai is a luxury. Considering I was meeting free this particular day โ I can eat as much petai as I want and fart equally as much, lol. Besides the loads of petai, there were plenty of prawns, squids, chicken. This was a yummy dish. My all time favorite would still be the one served at Precious old China but this was equally as awesome.
An old post of me having Nyonya food at Seksyen 17. It's best to have party of at least 6 to dine here as the portions are too huge for 2 pax.
To sum up our meal here, everything here is carefully prepared and churned out. Effort of the kitchen team shall not be shadowed, seeing that Nyonya food is complicated in terms of ingredients and cooking steps. But if we came back, the Pulut Hitam with Mata Kucing will be our must order.

Also ordered a side of roast pork belly (RM18) to share. This was divine โ nice balance of fat and lean, and the skin was extremely crispy. Loved the mustard dip it came served with.
And of course, a must to have would definitely be the Medium Rare Sliced Beef, Beef Balls and Beef Tendon. The delicious portion of meat which is beautifully sliced and served together with the silky and velvety pho. Amazingly good!
Looking forward perhaps at its other outlets to try the Bun Cha (grilled pork noodles) which both looks and sounds interesting!
Overall the food is quite alright although the service can be improved. Its a bit difficult to get the staff attention so the faster way is to order and pay at the counter yourself.
