The newest concept to Bangsar, Drift and Flow, has arrived. Drift and Flow brings a fresh purpose to the Drift group focusing on Modern Australian share plates. After four and a half years the team from Drift Dining and Bar in downtown KL, have opened their second restaurant concept in Bangsar, taking over part of the old La Bodega site in Jalan Telawi 2. Open Monday to Saturday from 5pm to 1am with lunch menu coming soon. Drift and Flow continues the service, consistency, and experience of Drift. Modern, casual, shared plate style of dining meant to be social, inspire conversation and ability to try all of the tastes around the table.

Her absolute favorites were the mains, she single-handedly demolished the duck and lamb and was so delighted to find out they had perfectly sautéed some yummy fresh green beans, carrots and cherry tomatoes just the way we like it, barely seared, crunchy, well-seasoned yumminess. We may or may not have ordered another two more portions, which you can do as long as they have stock.

There is more to Drift Dining & Bar that meets the eye. Come sunset hour, Drift comes alive and patrons are spoilt with an extensive handpicked wine and cocktail list. Drift also often has wine tastings/events to entertain its patrons and keep the scene interesting. We sampled several items off its a la carte menu as well as from their newly launched Weekend Brunch menu during our visit. They also offer an affordable lunch menu daily, with prices starting from RM19. Every first Sunday of the month, there will be a Boozy Brunch (free flow food and alcohol from 12-4pm) and they also offer Burgers and Beers on the last Sunday of the month, with beer prices starting from RM12 all day.

My Personal Opinion The ice cream flavours here are likable (certainly more likable than at our previous dinner venue) and what's even better, you can try many flavours in one go via their tasting platters. It's a possible option if you're looking for something to cool you down on hot days (though they weren't short of customers at night either).
