Upon arriving, there was a short queue despite it being a weekday (I visited the cafe at 12pm on a Friday). So, definitely make a reservation before you drop by, for the best seat in the cafe, which IMO is definitely the courtyard.
this quaint hideaway café provides a cozy retreat while surrounded by the unique artwork and natural elements amidst soul-satisfying and wholesome food.
Verdict: Amazing ambience for leisurely brunch or lunch Great place to have a catch up Delicious desserts! Friendly & warm service
Somebody sang praises of the Peach Strudel, so how could I not sink my teeth into it? Well, it was divine. Most divine! My brother could not agree more.
Love the bread, but dine in menu is average I think. Pizza is good.
This was really good. The outer layer was coated with sweetened nuts and the inner layer was a dense cake. If you are a Tiramisu lover like me, you’d love this dessert.
Crowded, food is okay. Most dessert are sold out.
Chocolate Millefeuille - MYR 16 nett. Coffee Eclair - MYR 13 nett. Both of them are half eaten in the photo above. In a nutshell - while they taste better than those sold in other bakeries but they are still on the sweeter side since they are meant to be sweet pastries so I don't think I will go back for more.
My Personal Opinion Bring your sweet tooth (and, by that, I really mean your sweet tooth) if you want to enjoy these baked goods. Make sure you order yourself a black coffee...and make sure it's bitter (without adding sugar) to cut through all that sweetness, otherwise it'll send you straight to diabetic heaven! ;P In the end, it proved way too sweet for me to have any remote chance of enjoying these sweet goodies. I'm afraid once was quite enough! >_< I'd rather go for the famous Japanese pastry, Chateraise Patisserie, instead.
We loved the food, and there are still a couple of pizzas and breakfast options I would like to give a go to, so we will surely head back here before it moves back out. I wonder though if these guys will look for extra cooks and extend the lease, as it seemed very busy and successful.
Reasons to visit Kenny Hills Bakers Ampang: To try and give a ranking of one pastry or bread over another would require multiple visits. Many numerous visits. I suggest you try this yourself. (Mon, however, says you must try the Yuzu Tart, take away a loaf of crusty sourdough, and don’t miss the maneesh bread from the wood-fired oven.)
Makanan dia pun agak so so. Hype je lebih ! Aku tak jumpa keserasian dengan jiwa. Keselesaan tu tiada !
Coffee is average, cakes are nice, tarts are acceptable but the cannoli is really too hard.
Chocolate Ganache Tart is quite compact, and the pastry feels like cookies. Taste wise is pretty good, but it is pretty hard to dismantle. The truffle Cream Cheese bagel is pretty big and soft,..

In the list, I decided to order the weird one which is Onde Onde Coissant Doughnut. It is a bit unique where it had a slight chewy texture as the filling base and the coissant is slightly crips outside. Not too bad though.
Dotty’s Pastries & Coffee TTDI Kuala Lumpur made a name for themselves with salted egg yolk cronut – the croissant x doughnut hybrid pastry filled with irresistible salted egg yolk sauce, along with a long list of delectable treats that we don’t mind having it for either breakfast, lunch, teatime or dinner.
Dotty's have been capturing the hearts of many ever since they launched their famous salted egg yolk cronut. If you have not heard of one, a cronut is basically a kind of croissant-doughnut pastry invented by a pastry chef in NYC
Grilled Pesto Chicken Sandwich, 18 ringgit The sandwich was delicious and I don’t know if you noticed – it was huge, yawwww. Literally a case of “I can eat half now and the rest later” situation. Basically, you’d get a large piece of Ciabatta bread with pesto + grilled chicken + tomatoes + cheese. It was surprisingly delicious. Why surprising? because simply judging from the size of the bread to filling ratio, it did not seem to match. However, upon tasting it, it tasted awesome. You’d be able to taste the pesto and grilled chicken just fine despite the thickness of the bread.
I have had my share of German Meatloaf Recipes in Waldorf, Germany whenever I had work assignment over there. And it really had been such a long time since having that last taste of German Meatloaf.
Der Backmeister known for its Artisan German bakery and coffee shop that serves traditional and healthy bread, one of its kind; perhaps not just in TTDI but maybe the country.
All in all, their forte is still very well and deliciously maintained; love all the pastries as usual, yumz!!
Cream Tart tastes wonderful as usual, and Summerkid loves their plain croissant.
If you're looking for some fine French pastries and European styled breads, made with top quality ingredients, look no further.....but be prepared to pay! ^_* Don't leave without trying the flaky and buttery croissant, the luscious opera cake and the oozy lemon curd tart...my top favourites. If I live or work in the area (they have another smaller outlet in Atria Shopping Gallery), I certainly won't be able to stop at one visit....but alas, I'm so far away. According to their Facebook, we can get a limited range of their products at O'coffee Clubs in KLCC (Kinokuniya), Mont Kiara and The Gardens (Robinsons). To get my fix, I may just have to visit the nearest one to me in KLCC to see what they offer! ;)
One of the most affordable Hi Tea in town, Encore offers 3-tiers high tea stand, together with a pot of tea of your choice at only RM50! And this can feed 2-3 pax! And this is really a steal ENCORE HI TEA SET RM50 for 2 Available Daily 12pm – 7pm
Take this High Tea Set for instance, enjoy morsels of sweet and savoury items placed over 3-tiers high tea stand, together with a pot of tea at only RM50. Definitely a good value set with no compromise over quality. Available daily from 12PM – 7PM.
The croissant was buttery and flaky. Good to have with butter and jam.
Personally, I think the freshly baked tarts were really nice and had the traditional flavour found in old bakeries. The fillings are generous and the pastry and tart skin is generally very buttery and crumbly. The boxed ones are less delicious as it is missing the freshly baked flavour of the pastry which I find is quite important for such traditional biscuits. I would recommend anyone who likes traditional Cantonese-styled biscuits and tarts to visit them
Stopping by for coffee here, old school kopi or cham (tea plus kopi) is a charm, fragrant not just from the drink, but from the nostalgia of this storied biscuit shop. A prime example of how the old can be reinvented for modern times, Fung Wong will hopefully last a long time as having afternoon tea with Chinese pastries is such a lovely change from the usual cake and coffee cafes.
Fung Wong is more than a pretty cafe. We really dig the concept of reinvigorating a traditional establishment for a new generation – with its modernised facade while retaining the standard and quality of traditional recipes.
We came for the sourdough, but stayed for the pancakes. Smith’s sourdough is extra rustic and smoky as they are baked in wood-fired ovens.
Beef Brisket Toasties (Rm 38) Slow-roasted Black Angus beef brisket, mozzarella, sharp cheddar, dijon mustard, mayo sandwiched in between the country sourdough bread and served with pickles. I took the first bite and I was immediately wow-ed by it. There were melted fats interlacing with the tender Angus beef brisket. Super delicious! Till now, I couldn’t forget how melty and delicious it was.
We initially wanted to have just sourdough as we weren’t in the mood for anything sweet-related treat early in the morning but the Classic German Pancake (Bismarck) looked so tempting it made us order one. And aww-my-gawd. Glad that we ordered this. It tastes soooooo good.
Do you fancy a cuppa tea and scones? If that’s a definite YES, check out Miss Ellie Tea House – our favorite place for homely and reasonably priced scones.
Reasons to visit: charming setting; welcoming family feel; some of the best homemade desserts and cakes in the city; great value comfort meals made with heart.
Bangers & Mash, 17.50 ringgit. Okay, if you guys have visited the UK, you’d most probably heard/know of Bangers & Mash. They take their bars seriously over there and this dish in particular is served in almost every bar. To find a relatively good cafe/restaurant locally that serves Bangers & Mash is kindda hard to come by. The one served here though – YUMMM ! Really good stuff. The mash potatoes were as smooth as butter and literally melts in your mouth. The chicken sausages – da bomb. Soft, meaty, chewy, tasty. I couldn’t ask for anything better.
Conclusion, I liked what I ordered for lunch, the Pancake was definitely flavorful with distinctive pandan taste and look, the 4 pcs were infused with chocolate chips, on the side was honey and a sliced banana, very nice concoction.
很喜欢这里的环境和食物,服务就麻麻地,喜欢吃西餐的朋友可以来试试
This cafe serves many kinds of delicious Italian food besides other western food.
Located at the upper floor at the quieter area of TTDI- which was good as parking was not as dreadful as the adjacent one. The café setting was simple and cozy, decently spacious with laid back vibes.
[Halal] Our friend raved about the Chipotle Grilled Cheese Toast (RM22) here and we had to agree. Gooey cheese slapped between two sourdough slices is super satisfying comfort food. The sourdough is toasted perfectly to yield crusty sides with a nice, soft and warm middle.
Grilled Chicken Pesto Sandwich with Fries, 28 ringgit If you are a fan of pesto like I am, you’d fall in love with this dish. The sourdough bread (made in house) had a crispy outer layer and yet, buttery and warm on the inside. It was somewhat green in color, which I assume to be because they infused some pesto into it? Besides the bread and the pesto in it, there was a generous portion/layer of pesto with mozzarella cheese + sun dried tomatoes and grilled chicken pieces. Biting into it was simply heaven. Seriously. Lots of pesto, lots of cheese – those two are my favorites. Add in some chicken and I am sold.
Barcook Bakery 的面包和馅料都是当天面包师傅亲手制作的哦 ~ 可以保证食材的新鲜和最佳的口感 ~ 一定要去试试哦 ~
For first timer, you can now grab this awesome selections of their best seller breads which includes raisin cream, mixberry cheese, pumpkin walnut, liu sa, salted egg and the mushroom bun
[Halal] Délifrance is back! We enjoyed the lovely French pastries with the Peach Cheese Danish being the pièce de résistance!
In our opinion, the pièce de résistance was the Peach Cheese Danish (RM9). The pastry was superbly flaky, topped with luscious peach slices, with cream on the inside. It was lovely – and quite comparable to the popular Peach Strudel at Kenny Hills Baker
Not many cafes offer croissants, and when they do, they’re too dry, too moist or too small. The coffee is forgettable, but Delifrance does have great tasting authentic French pastries. I wouldn’t call it cheap, but the portions are reasonable. There is such a wide variety that I’ll be coming back to Delifrance when I’m craving an afternoon sweet.
基本上我对这里还挺满意的,如果平日人比较少,可以慢慢品尝的话就更完美了。
Overall, it was a perfect place for me. Delicious pastries, excellent service and gorgeous environment. Second visit? A big YES for me. I would definitely drop by again for their croissant and butter.
♥Verdict: To be honest, the price range was on the higher side but Kenny Hills Bakery is a good place to spend a meal on, nonetheless. A worthy addition to my growing list of breakfast cafe, perhaps I should try their baked good on my next visit.

Roasted Chicken Pesto Pasta at MYR 40++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 46.40 nett). There are many roasted pine nuts in it so it is very tasty with the pesto sauce and not salty. The chicken meat has a very strong chicken taste.
As overall, the bread in Moonlight Cake House is novel and you will feel very excited during stroll in the house. The price is reasonable, not too high. The taste of the cakes is just right, not too sweet, and you no need worry about greasy. I even finish the cakes by my own. Will come back and try the Durian Cream Cakes if pass by.
Moonlight的面包是新奇的,逛它的时候非常兴奋,价钱也不会过于高,味道也不差。我尤其喜欢他家的红枣枸杞蛋糕卷,非常独特的味道也非常好吃
Honey BBQ Grilled Chicken (RM 11.90 ++) This is recommended by the waiter. It is quite tasty. The chicken is tender and the sauce is good. The fried rice is good.
To know what's good here....just follow one simple rule.....stick to anything that has Hokkaido's fresh cream in them (*wink wink*) coz those that I tried that didn't have that fresh cream weren't as successful. I've only scratched the surface with this one as there are loads more on to try but the high prices stop me dead in my tracks...though it won't stop me from getting my all-time favourite dorayaki! ^_*
It is easy to see why many are still flocking here everyday to try Chateraise’s products. For example, the Hokkaido puff is not something you could easily find here. And even if you can find it, it doesn’t taste as good as the original one.
Strawberry Parfait. RM18.00. The strawberry so fresh, so red!!!
