Upon arriving, there was a short queue despite it being a weekday (I visited the cafe at 12pm on a Friday). So, definitely make a reservation before you drop by, for the best seat in the cafe, which IMO is definitely the courtyard.
this quaint hideaway café provides a cozy retreat while surrounded by the unique artwork and natural elements amidst soul-satisfying and wholesome food.
Verdict: Amazing ambience for leisurely brunch or lunch Great place to have a catch up Delicious desserts! Friendly & warm service
I could not make up my mind on what to eat and so just selected the salmon main dish. Pan fried crispy skin salmon with clam tomato stew with one potato croquette at MYR 45++ (MYR 52.20 nett). Tasty dish, flavourful and without MSG (because I did not get thirsty after eating this dish). Kept half of it as usual.
Food was good and acceptable.
Naj Big Breakfast, 35 ringgit. This was delicious. You would get a generous amount of scrambled egg (comes in 3 options: scrambled, fried or poached) + mushrooms + beef bacon + chicken sausage + spinach + baked tomato + potato + a slice of sourdough. All the items on the dish tasted awesome, loved every bit of it. It certainly was a hearty breakfast with this dish, I just wish it was not as pricey as it was though. I cant think of another eatery that cost me 35 ringgit for a big breakfast.
This is their hidden Steak sandwich @ RM 35 which is off from the menu. Do request from the waiter. Among all the sandwich, this is my liking among the all. A slight toast with butter fragrant on the top., with sourdough is soft in between and steak is done to perfection. Medium rare. – recommended
Head down to Urban Daybreak this weekend with friends and family to enjoy a wholesome meal together plus don't forget to take some memorable photos for your Instagram Ah.
Crispy White Bait RM23.00 with Mint Yougurt Dip, Salt & Pepper Highly recommended to start with Crispy White Bait – a crunchy addictive snack that is so good on its own, better with a pint of beer. Dip with cooling, refreshing Mint Yougurt!
[Pork-free] Transparent Coffee has found a new home within the 80-year old Sam Mansion Flat in Kampung Attap. Coffee’s excellent as always.
♥Verdict: The place was rather vacant during my visit on last year September. Like what I said earlier, if you’re looking for a perfect spot to while away a few hours, you may consider this place.

Reasons to visit The Good Co APW: Superfood experiences in-house at trendy APW, also conveniently available for takeaway and home delivery; a 100% vegetarian menu with loads of vegan options too.
During our last visit there I ordered a cup of Healthy Organic Nasi Lemak at MYR 15.90 nett. Can you see the layers? From the bottom to top - millet (acting as rice), roasted peanuts, tempeh, cherry tomatoes, slices of cucumber (kyuri), hard boiled egg, assorted salad leaves and a small container of healthy sambal that tastes like sweetish peanut sauce (those satay dips).
Suddenly I thought that I would try their yogurt so I ordered this Soul Jar at MYR 14.90 nett. Oats can be seen from the top. Luckily the yogurt is sourish so it is appetising and I managed to finish the whole jar without feeling satiated.
Reasons to visit: All things coffee, but especially the Black Matter Coffee; Chilli Crab in a Charcoal Bun; easy parking. The popular All Day Grub menu continues alongside a wicked cake selection. Al fresco seating and extended menu coming soon.
Papa Palheta's flagship store in Malaysia, this cafe is serious about their coffee without forgetting to add a little humor in it. It was too early for dinner and I was ...
Protecting precious beans - Top-tier coffee, need I say more. A must-visit cafe for coffee enthusiasts. You get to shop for some coffee-gadgets too while enjoying your premium cuppa.
The charred exterior of the steak had always been that enchanting, so good that it got engraved in the mind vividly after the maiden visit.
Overall, i think this is a good option for special occasion, comfortable and spacious environment. According to Huck, the day we went was a quiet day as people go holiday during public holiday. So, can’t vouch for how noisy it may be on a busy night.
Overall, we enjoyed the meal, even though portions were smaller than what we would have preferred. It is definitely on the pricier side from a portion-to-price perspective, but we conclude that the premium is assigned to the kitchen’s culinary skills and knowledge, and uniqueness of ingredients.
[Pork-free] I tak auta, cubalah ALTA! Go for a culinary adventure at Alta Cafe in Bangsar, inspired by cafe culture in Paris and Copenhagen.
Really love our oh-so-delicious scrambled egg. Fluffy and moist, putting a good texture contrast with the crusty, homemade sourdough. Topped with confit chilli peppers and salsa verde that are beyond just to brighten up the presentation, but enhancing the overall flavour with a very nice touch of mild spiciness and sourness in between.
The new café allows many busy Malaysians to stop by for a quick bite and sip of their favourite honey cakes and beverages in a cosy therapeutic environment
We both ordered the beef pho as that is what they are famous for. Since we are definitely going to chat for long, due to the long delayed meet up, I ordered the iced coffee. The price of the food and drink came up to RM30.
Pho is my ultimate favourite Vietnamese dish, and the version at Super Saigon is so good with its clear, flavorful broth. I went for the Medium Rare Sliced Beef & Tendon Pho (RM18.90), with an add-on of firm, juicy beef balls (RM4). I like how the beef is now served rare, so it cooks ever so slightly when you dunk it in the soup for the perfect doneness. It's wonderful that they offer unlimited beansprouts and Thai basil to go with your pho too. What a satisfying bowl of noodles!
A great place to hang out and catch up with friends
A enclave generously swarmed with the abundance of natural lights that surely enthralls any food photography buff who is keen to snap the real beauty of the homey repast. The shady trees also provide a cooling shelter to the diners with occasional cooling breeze come brushing by your cheeks. It’s actually kinda relaxing, especially if you’re an early riser on a Sunday morning
We love how Grind 22 remains the beauty nature as part of the "decor", adds with wooden elements for more raw & rustic touch
Overall, we found the food at Kopenhagen Coffee Kapas to be decent, but the space is very much the main attraction for us. The service is wonderful too.
The Peri Peri Chicken was lovely. You’d get a large piece of tender, juicy roasted chicken thigh. Eating it by itself was awesome but drizzling some of that mildly spicy, flavorful peri peri sauce all over and then eating it was simply heaven. Yummmmm. This dish comes with two sides, we opted for buttery mash and french fries.
Muslim-friendly] Located in the Telawi Bangsar area, Drip Drip Café distinguishes itself by offering a variety of in-house baked goods.
This quiet rooftop cafe, also another one of Bangsar’s hole in the wall has been operating under the radar for a while now. Serving warung like home cooked dishes, Makan at The Basikal is one of the coolest hangout places with steeped stairways through a back alleyway with unknown drips and cars parked recklessly. Actually worth lingering in, you’d be real surprise with what you see once arriving at the highest level where the little open kitchen and comfortable benches are.
Reasons to visit Rage Coffee Bangsar: good coffee; milk alternatives; lots of plant-based recipes; pleasant setting.
Tried their “Dirty Chai”, which was pretty strong. The frothiness of the milk helped to cut through the spice and slightly tart bitterness.
Reasons to visit Planter Chin: Nourishing meals that pack a punch; standout drinks; and a lovely interior that will make you forget you have any plans for the rest of the day. The owners have a green thumb and are eager to chat with guests; don’t forget the jungle of plants to choose from!
Had long black and hot latte, accompanied with one of their best selling desserts S’more Brownies. Enjoy the brownies while it is warmth, so you get the soft, gooey marshmallow that goes really well with rich, chocolat-y brownies.
[Pork-free] There’s a new spot for coffee, cakes and more at The Spot by Chinoz in Bangsar.
Currently, one of my favourite hangout spot is at this AirStream Cafe that is located in this famous APW, Bangsar. A simple cozy place for me to catch up with friends and nice chit chat.
