The International buffet spread at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotelâs Crossroads is back! One of the more convenient hotels to get to as itâs smack above the Orchard Road MRT StationâŚ
Personally, I prefer Pink as it is in hues of beautiful pink. Concocted with vodka, lemon juice, rose liquor and rose syrup, it is easy to drink and slightly more lemony.
The huge piece of T-Bone ($168) features a luscious and tender 400-day grain-fed Australian wagyu, served with choice of bearnaise, black pepper jus or red wine jus.
The food menu is also quite extensive with a good variety of curious sounding fusion items â I definitely recommend it and would like to go back again sometime to try more of their food and drinks!
We are fortunate as they managed to make arrangement for us.
Overall, Walking on Sunshine is actually quite the good chillax spot for a bite of food and having some coffee, tea while getting away from the hustle and bustle.
CafeĚ&Meal MUJI is an extension of the popular Japanese retail brand, Muji. Muji Cafe offers a range of food and beverages that reflect the same principles of simplicity and quality that are central to the Muji brand.
Widely known for its minimalist and sustainable concept, Japanese retailer MUJI branched into food and beverage with the opening of the its flagship store at...
Food at Muji Cafe is mostly Japanese, Chinese, and French inspired, with predominant Asian flavours. Their set meals are sustainably produced, balanced, and wholesome, and you feel more healthy eating clean.
My interest in Art Jamming has been on the rise especially when I have seen multiple posts over the years from friends and colleagues doping art jamming for fun. Finally, an opportunity arose when I was tasked with booking a session to celebrate the birthday of my niece
What a fulfilling lunch! The standard and quality of their food way surpass my expectations.
Definitely recommended for couples who have become perhaps a little too complacent.
A cosy and comfortable, serving creative, wholesome and delicious food with a spicy twist. A great place to meet up and a nice hideaway at Orchard Road. Cheers!!
Service at Halcyon & Crane was average.
I always love Asian elements infusing into Western dish. There might be some misses in the Sichuna-inspired dishes whipped by Halcyon & Crane, on the whole, there are more hits.
These pancakes in Singapore, was more eggy which I liked, but it also deflated pretty quickly too.
Since we canât be travelling to Japan any time soon, itâs great to know that weâre able to eat and experience their produce right here in Singapore.
Famous Japanese pancake chain, FLIPPERâS has made its way to Takashimaya Shopping Centre Basement 1, where you can enjoy original âKisekiâ (miracle) soufflĂŠ pancakes as a meal or an afternoon tea treat.
Still, we enjoyed the vibes here and would check in here again for the comforting food and feel, even though we had only their egg tart and milk tea so far.
I'm not sure if this is a common dish in Hong Kong, but the English name certainly got my attention when I saw it at the menu at Honolulu Cafe.
The egg tart is definitely a good reason to visit Honolulu Cafe.
Superfood fans can rejoice at tcc â The Connoisseur Concertoâs new entrees that incorporates a delicious and nutritious grain alternative: Quinoa.
Youâd be hard-pressed to find another local chain that churns out premium dishes at a consistently high quality like tcc â The Connoisseur Concerto does.
I finally made it back to Jtown Cafe, and in person this time. It wasn't as exciting as I would've hoped though, not only since the bakmie ayam cabe ijo above wasn't as thrilling as the balado from last time, but also since the bakso that I got on the side were served lukewarm.
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
It was pretty darned spicy: I only used a small portion of what they provided, and it still left a warm residual burn.
Despite having a full lunch at The Sushi Bar , there would always be room for desserts, and conveniently located just a few floors below the...
Come and visit The Dark Gallery @ Takashimaya, you will be impressed by their enticing homemade selection range from Single Origin Tablets, Bonbons and Pralines, to Artisanal Cakes and ice cream; some make great gifts, while others are solely for self-indulgence.
Overall, we think that the food quality (canât say the same for drinks) at DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe is pretty good for a themed cafe.
Other fusion items which are also on their âMust Tryâ list include the Demi-Glace Meat Sauce ($16.50) which has long-hour cooked special demi-glace meat sauce on top of minced beef and parmesan, and the Cino & Nara ($16.50) which is a combination of peperoncino and carbonara.
Grand JetĂŠ Cafe is certainly a nice place to have a quick meal in Takashimaya Shopping Centre, away from the maddening shopping crowds in Orchard Road.
The Orchard Cafe has so much to offer, so be sure to check out their new space, and the spanking new heritage buffet!
I would say Orchard Cafe's relaunched Signature Class buffet is definitely one to check out if you are a fan of all-you-can-eat meals with a local emphasis.
I think Benjamin Barker CafĂŠ fills up the gap with a contemporary, stylish space.
Coffeesmith is a chain of cafes from South Korea. What I am told is that it has become popular partly because of its association with some Korean dramas, with scenes being filmed in Coffee Smith outlets.
Korean coffee chain coffeesmith has soft-launched in Singapore at Orchard Gateway.
Avenue on 3 Cafe Paragon Orchard sits in a corner of the new luxury fashion retail space by F J Benjamin on level 3 of the Orchard Road mall. There are many places for afternoon tea or a coffee break. Cafes such as PS Cafe and Halcyon & Crane are popular choices. But our recent coffee stop at Avenue 3 made us think it is possibly the best place for coffee or tea at Paragon Singapore.
The minion decorations are everywhere from the pillars to the staffâs attire, though we canât spot a decent instagram-worthy spot, if you get what we mean.
Personally, this would be a one-time experience for me to do it for the gram, or just to make my Minion-crazed best friend happy for a day.
Started by Japanese restaurant The Guest cafe&diner, the Minions Cafe had already been hosted in five outlets in Japan. It is now our turn to welcome these silly sidekicks.
Orchardgateway, 277 Orchard Road, #01-08, Singapore 238858, open Mon to Sun 10am to 10pm
The new outlet at Ngee Ann City has two ongoing promotionâany scone/teacake/butter croissant with a beverage at S$6 or any slice of baked tart and a beverage at S$11.80.
Their fruit tarts are crowd-pleasers that have legions of fans coming back for more.
Kumoya has also recently opened a new Molang pop-up cafe at their Jalan Klapa location.
If youâre thinking of celebrating a special occasion here, youâre in luck as the store will have a private roomâa feature that is not available at Bugis.
In summary, we loved both the gelato and sorbet even though general consensus is that serving size was quite small. I agreed to a certain extent but this is Orchard area we are talking about, yet the pricing at Play Gelato was comparable or even cheaper than the gelato shops in Yishun. The major issue I had was with the waffle and I sure hope there will be improvements in the near future.
