Burrow Bangsar is one of the very few places in KL that put canelés into limelight, other cakes and pastries to keep it company. Their canelés are aged for 48 hors, baked in edible beeswax coated copper mould straight from Bordeaux. There you go, the outcome is crackling, crispy, caramelized crust; custardy, rich within.

Depending on individual, it might looks a bit pricy for some, but if you fancy a excellent ambience for your lunch / dinner, then strongly recommend this place. Eating is not just to fill the stomach, you can do that with mixed rice, but it's the entire package, environment, ambience, smell, music, style, serving and etc. This is what Ben's in BSC offer, and I would definitely come back for any lazy afternoon that I just want a place to stretch myself for a lazy lunch/dinner. Thumbs up, loving it.

All in all I still love their pasta over other main…. The restaurant ambient is definitely a selling point providing a very comfortable dining experience. I can stay there for hours with the T2 teas (Ben’s use T2 brand for all their tea).

Verdict: 1. Definitely a healthier option when it comes to milk-based gelato. 2. Flavour wise, they are all very intense in natural taste, without being overly sweet or heavy to me. 3. Recommended: Pistachio Gelato

Reasons to visit: The Char Siew Chicken Salad and Curryeggy, but mainly for desserts, especially Sticky Date pudding and Play It Again Sam with a cuppa.
