The Grilled Juicy Chilli Boneless Chicken was delicious. You’d get two large strips/slices of boneless grilled chicken, topped with chilli/tomato puree? I am not too sure about the puree, it provided plenty of flavor and heat but not to an extent that is overwhelmingly hot that it sets your tongue burning. The chicken were grilled perfectly – retaining the tender and juicyness. I enjoyed every bite of it. The dish also comes with a side of crushed avocado salsa, salad and caramelized lemon. Overall, a satisfying dish although I cant comprehend the fact that this dish cost me almost 40 ringgit. Hmmm.

Tuesday, 29 November 2016 Thursdvys @ Taman Tun Dr Ismail My morning class was cancelled, SO GOOOD!!! The lazy us decided to have tasty breakfast before our afternoon class. We choose Thursdvys as it is located along our way to college. Thursdvys is located at TTDI, Kuala Lumpur (Next to Torii). We were greeted upon entering and the staff seated us in the 2pax table. Once seated, she gave us the menu to browse through. You have to order and pay at the counter. I ordered Babas Breakfast Set and Aglio Olio Pasta. A couple of people occupied the cafe when we arrived at 12pm but it was filling up for lunch. The ambiance of the cafe was good, bright and welcoming. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas for the customer. Breakfast set is served with complimentary coffee/ tea. Flat White was milky and velvety, it's like drinking a milk coffee. Yummy!! Aglio Olio Pasta was super duper yummy. A lovely combination of fresh garlic, shallots, parsley, capsicum, beef bacon, prawns tossed in olive oil. A simple yet delicious dish. Breakfast set is served with Scramble Egg, Beef Bacon, Toast, Sautéed Mushroom, Hash Brown, Tomato and Beans. The scramble egg was creamy and fluffy, beef bacon was good and the mushroom was fresh and flavourful. For me, everything in the place was perfect. Breakfast set @ RM 26 Overall, it was a perfect breakfast for us. Super delicious foods, pleasant service and lovely environment. What can I ask for more? It's just perfect for me. Second visit? A BIG YES for me!!

I think the sweet waffles were more successful and I definitely preferred the sweet ones over the savoury one that we tried. Also, I think I'll do without the add-on condiments (except maybe the fresh fruits) if there's a next time. If I had to choose again, I'd stick to a flavoured waffle with just a side of butter and maple syrup...and nothing else. Although I've only tried the waffles and some snacks, it didn't excite my palate enough to say I want to try more. Their signature savoury waffle may be called Moo Moo.....but I think I'll just moo...ve on along and graze somewhere else instead! Perhaps their new menu of hot food will fare better but I didn't try any, so I wouldn't be able to offer any insight into that.

My Saturday night food hunt brought me to Little Wanton in TTDI. A rather small establishment situated on the second floor, same row as the infamous Artisans Coffee House. Like the name suggest, Little Wanton is popular for its air fried wontons. Some sweet - some savory, but most importantly, all of it is air fried. Hence, you get that crisp and toothsome wonton, minus the nasty oily residue. I heard the charcoal noodles is also must-have here.

Tempura Soft Shell Crab Burger, 25 ringgit The burger was gooood, yawww. I loved it. The soft shell crab was da bomb. What I liked about it was the fact that every mouth I took, the taste of the crab was prevalent. At some eateries, while the taste of the crab is evident, it is not strong, it sort of blends in with everything else but that was not the case here. Here, it was the first and last thing you’d taste. I also liked the fact that they added some sweetish chilli sauce onto it, it kindda gave it a rather unusual but very pleasant taste. Yummm! The sausages prove juicy & easy to enjoy - two of us easily finished five hot dogs (though we likely left behind some bread). Note however that the infusion of elements like cinnamon may turn out to be more subtle than expected, supplying nuanced dimensions of flavour instead of knock-out dynamics. There's potential for slow-burning pleasure, but probably no fireworks.

Piggie Pesto, 29 ringgit. This was good. It was a classic pesto pasta with smoked pork bacon and pork croutons. A lil dryer than the pesto pastas I usually have and with a whole lot lesser pesto sauce but it was nevertheless tasty. Overall, a good dish.

Eating is not just to fill the stomach, you can do that with mixed rice, but it's the entire package, environment, ambience, smell, music, style, serving and etc. This is what Ben's in BSC offer, and I would definitely come back for any lazy afternoon that I just want a place to stretch myself for a lazy lunch/dinner. All in all I still love their pasta over other main…. The restaurant ambient is definitely a selling point providing a very comfortable dining experience. I can stay there for hours with the T2 teas (Ben’s use T2 brand for all their tea).

Oyakodon Ricebowl, 18 ringgit Between the rice bowl and the noodles, I was in love with this particular rice bowl. I am a fan of caramelized onion and this dish came with it, in a generous portion. It was da bomb. The egg resembled a plain omelette – fluffy and buttery. Underneath the bed of egg, there was a chicken fillet and sticky, gooey Japanese rice. Usually I like my rice bowls with plenty of gravy which was not the case here – but it totally worked. I loved it.
