"檀岛咖啡店 Honolulu Cafe" is a Hong Kong style restaurant much like a "typical 茶餐厅 Char Chan Teng" with "slightly" elegant decoration.

The boy wanted rice, so we browsed the fried rice section and he selected the Fried rice with pork in XO sauce (RM16.80). Turned out to be an excellent choice, one of the best fried rice we've had with plenty of wok hei. The portion size is also good for sharing.

↗ 上层也是盖满了三种浓郁的巧克力， ~白巧克力、巧克力牛奶和黑巧克力~ 里面则是满满一碗的冰淇淋和脆脆的Rice crisps , 冷冷脆脆甜甜的配搭着吃还不错, 但我还是喜欢苦巧克力~哈哈

My favourite dish here when I’m craving for something savoury is the Salted Egg Yolk Pasta. The pasta’s texture is just perfect, and the sauce is rich and creamy without being cloying, coating each strand of pasta with delicious umami. Another highlight is the deep fried chicken karaage, which are juicy, and moist, perfectly battered, and very crispy.

We enjoyed the lovely White (RM13) beautifully pulled by the barista, but non-coffee drinkers will also find Chocolate, Matcha, and OJ on the menu.

Ciaobella, where "Ciao" in French means Hello and "Bella" in Italian means Beautiful! And indeed the Ciaobella coffee is beautiful presented with an overload of whipped cream on a mixture of Expresso and milk and topped with some caramel.

BoLuo Bao with Butter (冰火菠萝包) RM7.00 is the main culprit to gain weight over the weekends just because you failed to resist (too finger lickin good) and yet still order it somehow. What makes it so special? This freshly toasted bun is attached with caramelized crunchy cookies layer (on top) and a huge pile of butter (in between) to make things even better, its hard to tell you how good it is but do beware as you will easily get addicted to it! 😉
