You are enjoying a roaring business only because of your customers' support so treat them right. I reiterate: I am not asking for five stars service at a coffee shop, all I am asking for is mutual respect.
I am not expecting five stars service at a coffee shop but I am sure nobody appreciates being yelled at for no apparent reason especially while paying for said service.
Besides the tom yum noodles, I do see myself coming back to have another bowl or even head to the outlet at Bukit Panjang!
The ingredients were solid – the pork liver was 粉嫩刚刚好, pork lard was very crisp and flavourful, stewed mushrooms were juicy and savoury, and pork balls, fish balls and minced pork were all fresh and tasty.
today really not so good & far cry from curry chicken noodles..not eating here again..
For me, I prefer Fa Ji Minced Meat Fishball Noodle because I like stronger flavours, and Fa Ji’s chilli sauce really won me over.
The thin and light noodles were slightly soft but still springy with bite. The soy sauce provided a solid savoury salty flavour – 很够味. The wantons were small but had silky smooth skin and were flavourful with a strong sole fish flavour.
Nice wanton mee (though not the same as the old school type I am looking for) and I am especially pleased with their wanton and soup.
Satisfaction, max!
I am looking forward to dining at the coffeeshop the next time round, just to have the piping hot noodles right away. If you love beef noodles, this stall is worth checking out for sure.
The appetizing elements of our meal enticed us to race through lunch, leaving us plenty of time to savour our post-meal coffee before our next appointment.
So if you are in the area, go check out this plate of Hokkien mee which withstood the test of time.
It wasn't an enjoyable meal for our family although we do agree that pricing wise, it didn't burn a hole in our pocket.
Although some of the zi char dishes at Curry & Curry may be subpar, the curry fish head here will always be an all-star to me.
Food at Gong Yuan Ma La Tang is focused on Chinese cuisine, specifically the Sichuan / Szechuan mala hot pot in soup / broth version. Ingredients are generally fresh, though I note inconsistency across several visits.
I liked the handmade fishball studded with chilli and chives, but the fish flavour was very mild. The noodles felt like they did not have much flavour, and everything else tested average. Not bad, but not something I will come back and queue for.
I would think this is easily better than some of those popular ones out there, even so, this might not be the best but it is good enough to keep me coming back.
To tell the truth, i love carbohydrates but i have always believed that they were major contributing factors to my weight gain and hence, i am perpetually on a carbo-restricted diet.
Recommended by Johor Kaki. There was a perpetual 3 to 5 person queue, but the service was quick. The wanton had a slightly thick but silky skin, covering a well marinated meat filling with sesame oil.
I was craving for a good oyster omelette and decided to head to one of my favourites, Simon Road Oyster Omelette.
