There are a good variety of dishes in the menu and the good thing is that there is no service charge and GST required.

Yun Nans came to Singapore awhile back and only now have I gotten to try it. Featuring dishes from the Yunnan region, one of the specialities is Steam Pot Chicken Soup. The flavor is ok, but nothin…
Usher in the Year of the Ox this February with YUN NANS!
餐馆主打高原料理,云南有七种气候类型,最高海拔6000米以上,无污染原始环境,遍布野生牛肝菌、黑松露、绿色南瓜,以及可食用花卉如茉莉花、玫瑰花和菊花。
This place (59 Serangoon Garden Way, 6284-0800) has been around for so long that my last visit there probably predates this blog. I recall it being much bigger back then, although I'm not entirely sure what else has changed.
For Pow Sing, besides having a long history since 1983 and being committed to sharing the taste of Hainanese Chicken Rice to fellow Singaporeans, the new experiences in their menu are worth trying too.
If you prefer the old-school style with a combination of yellow noodles with Bee Hoon and a wetter, creamy gravy, Chia Keng Fried Hokkien Mee might fit you.

The sweet and quite spicy chilli really added another dimension to the noodles when mixed in. I couldn’t stop eating – one of the best Hokkien Mee around. No wonder there was such a long wait…
Well, but the meats at Kim Heng Roasted Meat (especially the siew yoke) is definitely worth the calories. So sinful, but so good.
All in all, I think this place is over-rated and the food here is also over-priced.
Riverside Grilled Fish is a chain that has been around for awhile, but we never usually go because almost all the time, we didn’t want to eat fish in a variety of spicy sauces – which is what they are really known for.
If you are here, I highly recommend the Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Dice Rice!
Overall, I was very satisfied with our meal at GLC Restaurant, especially with the Salted Egg Chicken Dice Rice.
Overall, King's Laksa Steamboat buffet is definitely value for money.
Being less crowded than other steamboat places, yet offering decent ambience, service, and food, all at affordable prices, King's Laksa Steamboat remains a strong stalwart in the steamboat scene.
We had the laksa and chicken soup bases in our yin-yang pot. Happy to see fried pig's skin and fried beancurd skin for the laksa broth. So matching!
In my opinion, Bossi Ban Mian’s noodles definitely left an impression, especially the dry version.
Nonetheless, it is still quite different from the usual ban mian we have elsewhere and I think it is one of the stalls worth trying if you are in Serangoon gardens market.
2 reviews of Bossi Noodles "This has to be the best ban mian in Singapore because until I ate at the stall, there wasn't any other that is as outstanding as this. Their service is friendly and the price is very reasonable. After you've ordered,…
The prawn soup appeared unassuming at the start, but gradually grew on me. This was the flavour of old-school prawn noodles, sweet from prawns, pork ribs and I think rock sugar. The soup was light, refreshing, and uncloying, with a gentle prawn flavour. The noodles were okay, and the prawns were tasty, although only moderately fresh and slightly mushy.
Good place to get your prawn mee and ngor hiang fix if you are looking for prawn mee in the Upper Paya Lebar/Serangoon area!
For a no-frills meal with friends or family, Lau Wang Claypot is a decent choice. The food here may not be especially noteworthy, but it is comforting and fixes clay pot cravings in a pinch.
Definitely wasn't as good as the first time.
If you are at Serangoon Garden Market & Food Centre, do give their Fish Maw Soup Noodles dish a try. Its real good!
To be honest, Serangoon Gardens is not too convenient for us but whenever I have the chance, I would gladly make a detour just for Seng Kee Mushroom Minced Meat Noodle. That’s it, one of my favourite BCM blogged!
overall quite underwhelming, no comparison with
The Signature Crispy LaLa Clam Hor Fun (SGD $17 / $19 / $21) is a must-order here, with nearly all tables having an order.
Update 8 Oct 2020. The food was delicious, environment was clean and comfortable, service was friendly and prices were reasonable.
Overall, it was a great pleasure to see the journey of this young couple from the beginning till now.
This is quite good.
Really good to see a next gen hawker doing a good job with mee pok tar.
coconut 炖蛋dessert quite nice worth trying $10 each we shared by 2..not quite my favourite dessert..
味蕾上的旅行跨越大江南北,以过桥米线见称的红锅(Honguo)原来不是只有云南菜,菜单上也能找到川菜如重庆烤鱼、麻辣香锅,呈献更多中国地方风味,迎合本地食客的需求。
A delicious pig organ soup for those who appreciate the traditional taste. It is a satisfying and comforting meal. I’ve been back a few times already.
I have tasted better fish in other places but considering it is only $22, I think it is quite value for money.
It’s extremely hard not to get tempted when you see this delicious display of roasted delights. Both my sister and I caved in and decided to...
