Verdict: This was my first visit to Upperhouse Kitchen and Dessert Bar hence no comparison how’s the food before this 50% off promotion. Food we sampled that day was just average, I can’t find a good reason for me to come back.
Kimchi Cheese Croissant @ RM 26 Taste is pretty spot on, yet unique that have its own taste feature. Freshness of parsley do give it a slight much crips yet sour bitter after taste as you bite on the buttery bread. Very interesting. It is a dish that worth to order to check it out. Remember to squeeze on the lime.
Verdict: Upperhouse is a perfect spot for creative desserts and Western-style comfort food. Ideal for small gatherings and parties too.
Anyway, a worthy challenger to the Inside Scoop throne, and I want to try their very Malaysian flavours such as kaya toast or Milo dinosaur.
I really like this place, I really do. I would not be surprised if I come here again to try the other flavours provided here.
Verdict: A fun filled place with Instagram worthy desserts! Great ice cream which are handmade with interesting flavours & constantly a learning curve for you to discover!

Pattisez Malaysia at Bangsar had been one of the highlight by many others as it is the Australian bakery-cafe’s first franchise branch outside Canberra, Australia. The cafe was previously known for their epic Freakshakes monster-sized milkshakes heaped high with out-of-control toppings. In Malaysia, they were one of the early adopters to drive the trend previously along with few other inspired cafes.
It was a random weekend night that me and some others decided to head to Bangsar, not for beer, but for coffee. As we drove by Jalan Telawi, we saw Pattisez there, and it just became our spot.
I took my friend to eat the bingsu at HanBing, Bangsar and she ordered soy sauce chicken as well. I believe the above dish costs about MYR 19.60 and it was not as tasty as other soy sauce chicken that we have eaten elsewhere.
We are back at Han Bing, Bangsar to try the Mango Ice at MYR 30.30 nett after the delicious Strawberry Ice. The ice is not too sweet so it is very tasty to me and mango is one of my favourite fruit so I like this ice.
The very next day, my family and I went to Hanbing again for their weekday set lunch that includes a mini bingsu.
Go earlier in the day! They sell out super fast, especially their Lemon, Apple and Passionfruit.
Reasons to visit Namelaka Patisserie: Enjoy desserts quite unlike any other in the city. Our favorites were the Lemon and the Passion Fruit, but we suggest that you grab a group of friends and try them all!
Lemon @ MYR 23 – Chocolate, Lemon Ganache Montee, Lemon Gel, Lemon Marmalade, Fresh Lemon Segment & Fresh Mint Leaf Lemon is their best seller.
I find the food are very tasty. The drinks i had was just ok, i think i had ice blended green tea.
My favourite by far is the “Tray’s croque madame with roast beef, swiss gruyere, fried egg and gherkins” – RM24. Every bite was pure satisfaction – thick, tasty beef coupled with moist egg plus sweet, salty cheese. … hmm! Be sure to devour this while it is hot.
From café Horchata, java chip latte to an intriguing Pina Colada Bubble Gum coffee, OJO also has the usual mix of juices, lattes and ice blended drinks. Go for the jackfruit cream cake or a slice of peanut butter Valrhona chocolate.
Overall, yes the meal was good.
This is the place to go if you LOVE chocolate!
店内的和风意大利面当中,我最爱的口味是 Genovese。
Started out in Damansara Uptown 2 years back, Tea Press impresses many tea lovers with their premium Japanese tea, brewed by well-trained tea sommeliers. Their success has led them to the opening of new outlet in the bustling Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar Kuala Lumpur.
Tiny Temptress has opened another outlet at Bangsar Telawi. Loving the interior, the ambience and all the good vibes that comes along with exquisitely crafted desserts. Everything is made in house and from scratch!
