The value meal set is too good to bypass so I ordered a bowl of wanton noodles soup with a glass of iced honey chrysanthemum drink from the set menu. This set included a char siew bao and the total price is MYR 15.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 17.50 nett). As usual I kept half portion of the noodles and the whole bao for dinner.
Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert Restaurant could be a place for a quick meal to refuel you during lunch time. Currently having four outlets in Kuala Lumpur.
Overall, the food we had was enjoyable and reasonably priced for the portion you get. Frankly speaking, I had my reservations before coming here due to the reviews I read on their FB page. But as it turned out, almost everything was more than satisfying and even exceeded my expectations for a chain restaurant. My dining partners, some of them who had eaten at Sheng Kee a couple of times before this, also agreed that the meal experience we had was better than what they had previously.
【#Enjoy八打灵 隐蔽的咖啡店】被提名Time Out KL Food & Drink Awards 2011 和2012 年最棒的咖啡店, 【Whisk Outpost】在 1 Utama Shopping Centre的地点是相当 隐蔽;所以今天要介绍给大家。
My girlfriend super excited, she been telling me cakes are awesome over here. She recommended me Red Velvet which is best seller and Granny's Cake second best seller. If were to compare between Red Velvet and Granny's Cake, my choice would be Granny's Cake, creamy, fluffy, moist, while Red Velvet slightly sweet for me, overall both cakes are fine for me.
Espresso with 7oz milk (Latte) Coffee art is simple but I would say this latte taste great. Usually I taste milky with latte however this one the coffee taste is strong too. It balances the taste of the coffee’s bitter with the milk, additional point is the bubble foam is not too thick.
Tokyo Secret Cheese Baked Tart @ RM 7.90 The crust filled with a delicious cheese filling that melts in the mouth. If you like Cheese, you should try Tokyo Secret but if you like a combination of milk and cheese then you should try Hokkaido Cheese Baked Tart. For me, both are equally delicious.
That aside, I simply love the creamy, cheesy filling and its buttery, flakey crust. It was worth every expensive cents. Hehe.
But make sure you get the tarts warm and eat it on the spot! Don’t bother bringing it home or beyond 100m from the stall because it’s just so good when eaten warm. The tart crust is crumbly and slightly sweet and complements the soft, gooey and rich cheese filling. I believe I was speechless for a good 10 minutes while eating the tart. And then for a long time after that, I was just in complete awe of how good it tastes.
Salon Wrap was damn good. It's a simple dessert and all the element (Strawberry, Puffed Rice Cereal and mixed chocolate) makes it yummy. You can choose between dark or milk or white chocolate. We choose to have with Milk Chocolate. * Must try in Salon Du Chocolate. Salon Wrap @ RM 31
When I found that Salon Du Chocolat is now also listed in Eatigo, I knew it was the time to finally drop in. FYI, you can enjoy up to 50% discount on all the food (drinks excluded) here if you made a reservation with Eatigo. It’s a huge saving particularly in these trying time.
Waffle on a stick RM 12.90 I love their waffle stick. Its a MUST TRY ! You may choose which chocolate you want for the base. AND I always suggest, WHITE CHOCOLATE as a base because is sooooooooo damn GOOOD!!!
正确打开 Bingsu 美味的方式: 1. 拍照 >>> 2. 往下压 >>> 3. 搅拌
Ultra Violet Purple Sweet Potato Bingsu @ RM29.90 Among all the 5 items, my personal favourite goes to the huge bowl of bingsu because it is heavily loaded with crunchy granola, bouncy agar pearls and special edition purple sweet potato gelato on top of the smooth shaved ice.
Brighter ambiance with numbers of power socket to allow many of us (blogger) to spend our time here. It is also a new study place for the students while enjoying their Bingsu. Talking about Bingsu, in 2016 the Melon Smile Series has become the most Hit Promo and now, this promo is back!
The milk bricks of Zhao Ji Chuan Cheng was chewy and milky, wrapped with the santan flakes, made it very fragrant, the ginger milk custard...
The milk custard in Zhao Ji Chuan Cheng tastes so heavenly! It just melted in our mouth with a hint of ginger which was not too strong
Served not just famous chendol but also loads of Penang food too.
Chendol: MYR 6.50 nett is now MYR 6.13 nett and Rojak: MYR 8.90 nett is now MYR 8.40 nett.
12 noon - lunch for two. Ordered the combo to share - 1 noodle, 1 delight item and 1 drink for only MYR 18.90 nett. Prawn Mee - Normal price is MYR 10.90 nett. Sotong KangKung - Normal Price is MYR 9.90 nett and Hot Cocoa drink - Normal price is MYR 5.50 nett so quite a significant saving by ordering the combo. Next time I am going to request for the sotong kangkung sauce to be served separately because they put in too much sauce.
From the comments asking me to try their top 3 best sellers, I would like to note here that the top 3 best sellers according to what I have read online are: 1. Legendary Fresh Cream Cake (MYR14.80 nett) 2. White Zebra Mille Crepe (MYR14.80 nett) which is a slice of vanilla mille crepe 3. Baked Cheese Cake (MYR9.80 nett)
There are too many choices and we couldn't decide which to get hence we get these two flavour. I like Crispy Chocolate Cake more than the Legendary Fresh Cream Cake as the rich chocolate taste and fluffy sponge are so well blended! Can I have the whole cake by myself? lol.
*I would highly recommend their Legendary Fresh Cream Cake(RM14.90) since I saw the "NO1 BEST SELLER" label on this cake and trust me, you never get tired of this cake even though there is a lot of whipped creams! The strawberries in this cake was juicy sweet and fresh yum!
Every scoop of the yoghurt is insanely delicious when topped with caramel sauce, they are out of this world for me. You will be in heaven. Hahaha!! So GOOOOD. I will definitely drop by again whenever I crave for it.
Fusion waffle that looks like Belgium Waffles but didn't taste like what I've had in Amsterdam. I like the Matcha version more as I'm not a Waffle person, and I like anything with green tea. It's a little pricey - almost RM20 for the plate, but they have guaranteed that their ingredients are important from Belgium & Japan so it's not expensive for no reason!
Madame Waffle 1Utama Shopping Centre finally opened its door after having a kiosk each at Mid Valley and The Fardens. Liege Waffle and coffee is signature.
Drifting away from the Belgium waffle to also cater to mass crowd who loves crispy waffles, they mean it when they say crispy. Cinderella here promises absolute clean and neat of course and no need to wait for fairy god mother to grant your sweet extravagance. Blending the right recipe to form the airy and light crisp, while beautifully presented with slices of banana and the berries, and magically dusted with sugar powder for absolute viewing pleasure.
Toasty pastry with an ice creamylicious core, wrapped firmly together and then glazed with the sauce of your choice on top.
Spicy Glass Noodle with Seafood (RM25) For those who love some kick of spiciness, grab this spicy glass noodles which is packed with kick of spiciness and topped with the fresh scallops, squids and juicy prawns.
Seafood Tom Yum was delicious as usual that both of us loved it. Small Seafood Tom Yum Soup @ RM 40
