Uncle Don no longer feels like the affordable and tasty lunch place anymore.
All in all, my second experience at Uncle Don’s was a pretty pleasant one! The service is much better at this outlet as well. I recommend coming for the lunches if you don’t like crowds, and during dinner/supper if you prefer a livelier atmosphere with drinks and music.
Sizzling sisig RM 12: ground pork, sauteed with onions, garlic & chili padi, served in sizling hot plate with egg, calamansi and white rice A Filipino dish originally made of not-so-common part of the pig, I do hope that this one didn't come from the head. The plate certainly did bring the dish to greater heights, turning the meat crispy. Very nice except that it's rather dry to go with rice. The egg helped a bit not not enough.
Worth a try if you fancy Japanese yakitori, some hit and misses.

Food is okay.
Their chicken teriyaki is one of the signature too. Their chicken teriyaki is one of my favourites as they are well marinated with the teriyaki sauce and then being grilled till perfection. Nice and juicy each bites.
Premium Loin Aburi (Torched) (RM 28) One can enjoy the premium A5 wagyu which is beautifully torched in front. You can savour the sliced wagyu which is served with the sea salt and every mouthful is awesomely good and delicious.
Verdict: Overall, we have a great dine-and-wine experience here all thanks to the warm and seductive ambiance. Looking forward to revisit The Barn and try its steak and meat selections next time.
The Barn Wine Bar Sunway Pyramid. Nice place. Great selection of food and the ones we tried didn't pretty much let us down though not out of this world or I have not had before elsewhere. Of course, when its a wine bar, The Barn Wine Bar I reckon will be the watering hole for those who want to wind down for reasons only they know best. Can you afford a meal in The Barn Wine Bar? Subjective to what your order and why not to treating yourself when you feel you should.

Decoration here is industrial with an automotive theme, tables are reconditioned using industrial pallets as well as used tyres!
The fried items in the middle tray were the best, but overall a bit expensive. But don't mind coming here for the cheap beer next time.
Spicy Unicorn Leg (RM58) – lambshank in Szechuan pepper sauce. Very tender meat robustly infused with chillies and spices!
If you visit Poison Apple in group, do not miss out Chilli Phoenix RM58, another favourite of ours. Whole Kampung chicken rubbed with Szechuan pepper oil, carefully smoked to impart hint of applewood smokiness and aroma not only around the amber-hue outer layer, but also within the tender, juicy meat. Recommended.
The eatery occupies a large space, easily being able to accommodate a large group. With Ed Sheeran playing in the background and the easy – going atmosphere, it is no wonder plenty of office folks made this their go – to spot for lunch. Sunway Geo's "The Beer Factory eXpress" is the longest standing pub here, and still surviving today during the Pandemic periods.
The Beer Factory Express at Sunway Geo is (I think) the only Pub left to-date, few meters away's where the shop lot used to be CAVE Art Lounge is today an eatery!
Really quite an excellent fried chicken, the "蒜香酱油鸡翅 Garlic Soy Wings" was very tasty and definitely goes well with the happy hour beer here.

Overall, the pub food was good but I would say that for me, coming here would be more for the pub experience than the food itself. While previously against the idea, (How do you even talk in such noisy places??) I can definitely see the appeal of hanging out in places like these where there’s always such a joyful, high energy vibe all around. For those wanting to give the pub experience a try, The Brew House is just as good a place to start as any!
In summary: GRBG is worth visiting at least once for the memorable experience, though we did not find the food spectacular enough to warrant a second visit. While prices likely include the premium of the Gordon brand, we think it is unwarranted considering the portion and the 1.5-hour time limit.

Brussels' style roasted pork belly with crispy crackling. I like the sauce being served and it is delicious, by the way, I don't know what is that sauce, lol!
The Guinness Braised Lamb Shank (RM48) is drool-worthy with a large lamb shank, beautifully glazed in a lusciously dark and rich Guinness sauce, on a bed of mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Fork tender, the lamb shank was well-braised, enough to be deliciously flavourful from the wonderful moreish sauce. The sides were the classic perfect accompaniments to that lamb.
The Grilled Lamb Rack (RM58) has three juicy chops perfectly done with a pink centre. It’s served with a honey-mustard sauce, a drizzle of mustard and roasted vegetables on the side.
Highly recommended to go for the the steak menu with 8 variants.
