Their food tends to be frustratingly sweet, but in this case, it was a welcome approach given how nicely it complemented everything else. If we order from these guys again, then I'm sticking to this one.

The tagline for Grain Catering is "Your Friends Are Eating Grain And Loving It", and this is an apt description. At the time of this post, I consider Grain Catering to be the gold standard for catering in Singapore. Why? There are a variety of factors that support my decision.
All meals from Dabba Junction are prepared in their halal-certified, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) food-safe central kitchen.
The bee hoon was on point, soft yet with bite. The prawns were springy and fresh, egg was flavourful, although the shredded chicken was bit clumpy. The star of the laksa was the laksa gravy though, rich but not overly so, balanced and complex with a range of flavours, including a nuttiness and slight bittersweetness characteristic of Sarawak laksa.
