As mentioned above, the DoubleTree Hotel JB is in a great location for downtown attractions, shopping and transport. We could walk to Komtar in about 5 minutes and there are also some nice looking restaurants within moments if you want more choices for food.

For those of us who like spacious hotel rooms, you’ll be pleased to know that the guest rooms here are quite spacious, and this King Executive Room was no different. There was plenty of space for 2 large luggages to be laid out and still prance about.

The twin beds in multiple shots; thankfully, their width appeared to be alright for two persons and i can't deny i was enjoying my sleep that night.

On the right would be the Suasana Suites Cafe; those who stay in the hotel section would dine at the cafe for their daily breakfast. Given its height, it's granted you would get a good view of JB city skyline.

What is the difference between Standard Room and an Executive Room? Obvioulsy - it's concept, of course. Standard Room provide accomodation with or without additional "extra" while Executive Room or Business Suite definition caters for accommodation per specific requirements; for dining, working and relaxation.

Executive Suites ni ada banyak pilihan jika korang nak stay. Bagi Sis yang datang berdua dengan anak, Sis amik aje yang 1 bedroom, so dalam bilik menempatkan satu buah katil King. Tapi jika korang datang family, lebih dari 4 orang, korang boleh amik Executive Suites 2 bedroom atau 3 bedroom. Yang itu memang sangat luas dan puashati!!.

Overall, it was a very pleasant and blissful stay at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre and the King Bed Studio Suite is must book if you plan to stay in this hotel.

Z Hotel is a small hotel but it has a lot of comfortable rooms. Room is clean and specious with comfortable bed.

For guest rooms that are tiny, I am surprised that the gym was pretty spacious with quite a number of machines. Better than the one I had to make do with at Vien Dong Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
