Overall A centrally located, stylishly simple budget stay in the heart of buzzing Johor Bahru township. Positives Good location, proximity to conveniences, clean and quiet. Negatives I’d contest the website’s claim that parking is convenient, unless you roll up in the morning after the restaurants, bars and clubs have closed and their patrons have made their way home. MBJB/MBIP parking is 60 sen/hour, which can be paid via the JomParking or MBJB apps.

Our unit is a 1 bedroom apartment, and it comes with a Queen size bed. There are wardrobe at the side and the room is air-conditioned. You also enjoy an unblock view of Mount Austin just standing by the balcony. (PS: Keep the windows closed/locked if you have young children as I also felt a little jittery standing on the balcony).
