At some point it would be nice to go back and try the mixed rice without having to queue too long, which should be achievable as Pelita is open 24 hours a day. If we do, I’ll update.

½ Sizzling Tandoori Chicken, my another favourite in Tandoor Grill. I tried it for the first time in their Ipoh outlet and it’s my favorite ever since then. Tender, moist and juicy Tandoori Chicken served in lip-smacking sweet and sour gravy in a sizzling plate, YUM!! Must try in Tandoor Grill. ½ Sizzling Tandoori Chicken @ RM 38

Service was a bit slow, but you come to a place like this for a relaxed meal, not to rush. It’s easiest if you speak some Malay too. It’s all pretty basic – food, surroundings and service, but the price is really good for this area of town, at only RM15 for two breakfasts, a couple of snacks, and three coffees. I don’t think there can be many places you can eat so cheaply less than 5 minutes walk from the Twin Towers.

The Roti Telur is ok for me, dry and not too oily, with the thick gravy and sambal, really not too bad.

The building was build in the 1970s, with the Twin Towers and the new Four Seasons next door, it is still relevant as it offers a makan place not for the tourist but everyone else with generally still an affordable price for a meal.
