The Roti Telur is ok for me, dry and not too oily, with the thick gravy and sambal, really not too bad.

Reasons to visit Nadodi Restaurant Kuala Lumpur: Haute cuisine wrapped in paper and ribbons of Southern India and Sri Lanka, and labelled “Engaging Nomadic Cuisine.” Chef Sricharan’s new menu is more of a journey than the name suggests: This time we get heart and soul as well.

Likes: Probably the only Indian cuisine served in a fancy way in Klang Valley - something different from your mamak stall. Every dish comes with a story, and it makes the culinary journey much more interesting :) Dislikes: Consider serving the dishes slower - gives us more time to relax and chill. First three dishes is probably better off serving as solo... Cocktails are ridiculously priced with subpar standards, what's the point of having a pretty item but merely any alcohol in it. Parking is a hazard too - only 4-5 spots and for RM20 it's really much better off requesting Uber/Grab.

One of the signature (and popular) dishes here is the Nasi Ayam (RM55), aka chicken rice. Guests can opt for either roasted or poached chicken. We went for the roasted chicken and I was impressed by the generous portion that arrived. Tastewise, the chicken was tender and comes with three different dipping sauce - chilli, ginger and sweet soy sauce. The rice was pretty good too, as it was fragrant and flavorful. Overall, a pretty authentic rendition of a Malaysian favourite.

Do not miss out the Chinese Chicken Rice stall. You might but not in JP Teres Grand Hyatt buffet. Really good roasted chicken and poached chicken. Tender, juicy, pair perfectly with aromatic, fluffy chicken rice.

Food was yummy, yawwwww. I can see why Havelly is pretty highly rated. The briyani was yummy, The rice was moist – just the way I like it, there was plenty of flavor and a generous amount of chicken. Rather than a big chuck on meat stuffed into the rice, the chicken here were chopped and served in small pieces. The dish also came with a side of indian yogurt – Mooru and a gravy. Both were an awesome addition to the dishes, added a difference in texture and taste.

The new dessert created by Sapna was a nice surprise to end the meal. Using a freshly-made sweet appam as a beautiful lacy “plate”, Goa’s house-made Peanut Ice Cream, served with dashes of caramel and crunchy almond flakes was the perfect dessert to round up our lovely Goan dinner.

Pepper Beef Fry This Pepper Beef Fry might not be picture-worthy but it tastes so good! It is actually a popular Kerala-style beef fry, having bite-sized beef chunks cooked till moist and tender, packed with a great depth of spices and freshly ground pepper flavours. High recommended.

There's also the melt-in-your-mouth, Malabar Style Mutton Curry. It's rich, spicy and mellow, an additive dish some will die for, drawing the most 'ooooohs and aaaaaaahs' from the table. Mutton is never an easy meat to cook, and most are not able to make it tender but Chef Sapna's Malabar Style Mutton Curry was absolutely tender and soft.

There’s the Malabar Mutton Curry with Plantain Fritter (RM28) if you love a good curry. Another twist from a Kerala favorite, Chef Sapna substituted beef with mutton for extra richness. Plantains is paired with the curry to give it a different flavour and textural twist to the curry.

Despite their hefty price tag, one thing I like about an authentic Indian restaurant is the person who take the order is always never the waiter or waitress. It always must be either the owner or someone close to the owner who knows about all the dishes in the menu. I have to give credit to their professionalism in every finest detail in serving their patrons.

Seabass fish 65 (RM42 for 2 pax). We love this dish as it has a nice strong taste of mustard. The gravy was addictive and another dish that goes perfectly with white rice or a piece of Naan bread. Needless to say, the dish was full scoped up to the last drop of the 65 gravy.

The Khazana Mutton Biryani is a tantalising combination of Basmati-flavoured rice cooked with tender mutton, aromatic spices and egg in a whole wheat bread to seal in the flavour and juices, thus it also helps to retain the natural moist of the meat, making its texture juicy and more succulent prior to serving.
