Pretty competent tiramisu that had the ladyfingers well soaked.
It was a lovely dinner.
Overall, the dining experience was completely different from the past. The newly revamped menu and Chef Kenny Huang onboard along with Sommelier Uzair Yaacob (certified by the Court of Master Sommelier Worldwide, European Chapter) and Mr Mayandi certainly deliver an exquisite culinary creations and fine wines to the table.

Food at Rosso Vino features classic Italian trattoria dishes; homely, comforting, and authentic. With a focused menu of Italian favourites with options for gluten-free and vegetarian, Head Chef Francesco Serra and the kitchen team ensure each plate is a delight with its simplicity and fresh ingredients.
Despite it's conservative decor and even more time-honoured menu, dining for the first time at Rosso Vino is a dangerous love affair.
4 reviews of Rosso Vino "The prices of the food and drinks are very reasonable for the quality of it. Service was fantastic. It's gonna be a real pity if it can't sustain due to lack of publicity. Do try it if you're heading down to Robertson…
Dining at Mondo Mio is a relaxed affair, where customers can catch the chefs bustling in the open kitchen and enjoy their food and wine in a cozy yet spacious environment.
I have had plenty of Matcha/ Hazenut/Pistachio Tiramisus but most were either too sweet, too creamy or an overdose of the Marsala wine. The “Goldilocks” pistachio Tiramisu here however has the optimal ratio of mascarpone to cheese, of Bailey’s and pistachio, and much like a well concocted cocktail, the notes of each component blends in beautifully without a single clash of flavours.
Personally, Wine Connection is the kind of place I’d go with a big group of friends, down several bottles of wine, order a load of different dishes and go home safe in the knowledge that our wallets were still intact.
A good choice if you want to have some casual food with wine without breaking the bank.
The food and wines served here are quite affordable. I would foresee myself returning with friends to check out other dishes without burning a hole in my pocket. D.O.P Mozzarella also has a mini corner where they sell retail items imported from Italy.
Granted I was mentally prepared this would not replace a trip back to Italy but it was close enough - creamy, nutty and a tad sweet.
Italian cuisine does not automatically rank tops for favoured cuisines and it was one of those - where shall we go? casual and cosy sort of decisions and Lucca's came up in the search.
