Personally, i feel that the food here is just average.
Spaghetti Aglio E Olio [RM18] The classic, but the hardest to master. They've got the right amount of everything(fried garlic, dried chili and olive oil). This is one good olio!
That slight hiccough aside, on to the dishes we sampled. We started with an excellent salad (simply titled Cinque) on the menu which combined lettuce, rocket, prosciutto and slithers of parmesan with a superb dressing.
Soul Cafe 也不例外,推出了四道邪恶的的圣诞精选!
Soul Cafe also caters special menu for events and celebrations.
Their food and coffee are pretty impressive as well as usual. And definitely not forgetting their lava cake lol.
Another lovely dish is Eel and Foie Gras Risotto. The rice is cooked perfectly, which paired well with the buttery eels and foei gras.
位于浮罗池骨(Pulau Tikus)藏着这么一家媲美米其林级别的餐厅 Markus Restaurant。
A walk in and you're welcomed by the warm cozy ambiance that makes dining such pleasurable.
Rest assured coffee lovers, you will not be disappointed with the amount coffee beverages available at this cafe.
At Acupaday, coffee beans are brewed by illy.
Here's the location.
Jaloux is a small place with not many seating place but it is a comfortable place to dine in.
Jaloux on King Street in George Town, Penang (right next to Wa Coffee Cafe) is touted as the place for pasta. The air-conditioned cafe with a heritage old look was opened recently by the same people behind Cozy in the Rocket at Armenian Street which has since ceased operations. While we were there for lunch, the tables were filled with mostly working locals. Pasta is on the lunch and dinner menu in addition to risotto and several other small dishes of grilled country bread, cold cuts, pork bacon and ham.
Rosemary Potato Pizza on the other hand, left us with the deepest impression. A very unlikely ingredient to be found on a Pizza, the Potato worked magically with Rosemary as a Pizza... interesting texture too.
Overall, this is a great place to hang out for some quick pizza fix and is also ideal for late night owls. The food here is fast, fresh and healthy.
The signature here is the unique Potato with Mozzarella cheese, which is lightly seasoned with Sze Chuan pepper and Rosemary
We tried their Al Pesto Pasta and found that their Pesto sauce was delicious. It has an in depth herbaceous flavor with creamy texture... a pity that the Linguine was overcooked though
The Loft pizza served piping hot from the oven satiates the taste buds of those who love beef. It comes with beef pepperoni and beef bacon alongside mushrooms, onions, green pepper, pineapple, and black olives.
Good vibe, good cause. To celebrate 7 July the Heritage of Georgetown, Ciao Gelato is doing a charity ride for 20 first customers that purchase the Gelato or Sorbet, they are entitled to a free ride of Trishaw in the Georgetown area. Ciao Gelato is the new Gelato shop in town that serves fresh and delicious Gelato and Sorbet. This is a nice place to chill and recharge.
Our favorite place for Pizza and it is the best Pizza in Penang. The dough is very special and extremely crispy, pizza filling very special and delicious as well.
Yin’s Sourdough Pizza offers Neapolitan style pizza, baked in a stone oven, with a chewy slightly charred crust and ‘soup-y’ center. I had no qualms about the soup-y center and found the chewy crust to be utterly enjoyable. There is a slight tangy taste of the sourdough but not overwhelmingly so. Most enjoyable was the slow cooked tomato paste which married beautifully with the sweet zucchini and eggplants. The usual carnivore in me hardly missed the absence of meat in this vegetarian pizza!
There is so much space at the dining area and the open concept even extends to the open kitchen where you can watch the pizza maestro freshly handcraft your pizza to order. My jaw dropped when I spotted a few Tablets left (securely locked of course) on the long table for visitors to do a spot of casual browsing.
The cozy environment in the cafe is an ideal place to hangout with your friend and family in the afternoon
This is their signature for the cheese roll spread. Raglette with Crisy Potatoes @ RM 25. You are served with a plate of crispy potato with some mushroom and cherry tomato. A minute later, a guy will bring a warm roll of Raglette and spread the top warm part into the dish. My personal verdict is, it looks cool and taste are bland. A good gimmick.
Even though the cafe is a little off the beaten track, it manages to attract a great crowd ever since its opening. But what's the pull factor? A turophile might be able to relate. The Little Journeyman Cafe, a tenant in The Museum Hotel, off Transfer Road and right smack in town; offers a small Western menu (with choices of Pasta, Toast and Sandwiches) but people are attracted to one particular dish- melted Raclette Cheese. The Swiss semi-firm salted Cheese is first melted and scraped on a serving of Potatoes; needless to say... that resonates across social media platforms. It may require extra effort to notice the cafe, the exterior is dull and the signage is small but once inside, it offers the standard cafe-coziness. There are limited numbers of tables and chairs though so if you are planning a visit on a Saturday, do make sure that you have secured your seats.
这一款呢 绝对是百分百的 Asian Blue Pasta 结合了马来西亚的风味因为有鸡蛋,咖喱鸡,Sambal,江鱼仔 这道本地人再熟悉不过的口味,会成为社交网络的热烈话题
If you are old enough or a huge fan of Pasta, chances of you hearing the name "Get Em Smack" could be high; previously at Penang Times Square, "Get Em Smack" was said to serve some of the best Pasta in town! Business operation was then ceased due to some reasons and now, they have returned as "Casa Calda Cafe". The newly opened cafe at Bangkok Lane preserves some of the regulars' favorite Pasta dishes (except that prices have gone up) while additional offering such as Breakfast items and Desserts have also added to the menu. It settles in one of the houses along that street; inside, it has a simple-homey setting with a few tables (air-conditioned though). It can be an ideal spot for early encounters (it opens as early as 8:30 am) to grab a quick meal or sweet treat to sweeten the day.
Château33 was having fine dining buffet at RM88.00 nett per pax.
With a name like Viva La Pasta, one would expect to see a heavy Italian fare in this newly opened restaurant. It is housed within the new budget hotel- iStay Hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Step in the cafe and you will be pleasantly amazed by how cozy the place is. While every effort was made to ensure the place lives up to the classy Italian theme but we did not think the Italian element was strong enough. In fact, we spotted a wallpaper with Chinese characters. On the menu, it offers quite a wide variety of Italian fare, ranging from Antipasto, Pizza, Pasta, Grills and even classic Italian desserts. Very wallet-friendly price points but as far as authenticity is concerned, we thought the flavors have been localized to suit the local audience.
The place serves quite a wide range menu, from breakfast items, pizza, pasta right up to desserts too.
Penang is never a vast desert when it comes to Italian eats, the typical Pasta dishes like Aglio Olio or Carbonara, Pizza and Tiramisu can be easily found. But specialized Italian restaurants are rare, probably only a handful of them in town. Italianies has been serving hearty Italian dies in Gurney Paragon Mall a few years back since the mall's grand opening. True to its name, the upscale and trendy restaurant right in front of the al-fresco zone delivers palatable and sinfully rich Italian fare. The menu is dedicated entirely to serving Italian delights- from the classic Pasta dishes to the well-received Pizza as well as genuine hearty Italian-European dishes; the relaxed and cozy atmosphere coupled with the dining options have been attracting a wide range of dining personalities.
There are a lot of different food from their menu, i try different food every time i am here and still enjoy all the food that i order so far.
还记得之前和大家介绍的 Solaria Square 吗? 那里有一间大家应该都熟悉的咖啡厅- ACUPADAY
One of the inspiring dish is Croissant Thailandese Chicken, a fusion dish featuring homemade lobak (meat rolls) sandwiched by croissant and dressed with unique Thai sauce that gives a balanced sweet and spicy filling. If you prefer a less spicy variant, try their Black Pepper Chicken instead.
Lebanon is a modern contemporary restaurant that serves an interesting spread of Arabic cuisine. The casual fine dining restaurant opened in 2000 was located along Jalan Batu Ferringhi, Penang before moving to Tanjung Bungah.
this hidden gem is the perfect spot for short a getaway with your loved ones
I love this pizza that definitely the first thing i recommend to people who havent visited before.
Moved from E-gate, Elmondo is now at Arena Curve. Here's the location.
