Tenjin Raffles City is a nice Japanese restaurant for quality tendon & tempura; casual chic space, efficient service & reasonable prices.
This was the Inaniwa cold udon set with the tempura. Not bad.
Not bad. I like the tempura here much better than the grease logged and oft mentioned Tendon Kohaku which I never understood.
We had a nice meal at GyoGyo in Funan Mall. The dining space was pleasant and the prices were reasonable.
The quality of the fish and rice weren't great, but I still finished that miso marinated halibut saikyoyaki above, and might come back to try some of the other fishes and cooking styles.
Some smokiness in the Aburi Oyako Don. Otherwise quite normal with quite little chicken.
Tori Sanwa Raffles City review - Singapore Outlet of Oyako Don Restaurant with pictures of menu with prices, chicken cutlet don, oyakodon
Tori Sanwa does a hitsumabushi version of their chicken. Granted, that just meant providing some garnish, broth, and a rice scoop for one to use in each progressive stage. But at least tonight the kitchen wasn't so sloppy about the food like they were last time, making it easier to actually enjoy this. Note though that this is the slowest item on the menu, requiring at least ten minutes for it to arrive.
NOKA by Tippling Club is located on Funan’s rooftop on the 7th level, where they serve contemporary Japanese small dishes, Tuna Taku, Morokyu
NOKA uses traditional Japanese cooking techniques for the farm-to-table concept.

The soft serve counter has been causing quite a buzz and with their cheese soft serve up for grabs, I just had to join the queue though I was really keen on the Cow Cow Ice Sundae - a combination of soft serve and cheese cake!
Looking for something different? Try their Cow Cow Sundae (S$8.50). This velvety soft serve ice cream is made with the finest ingredients such as cream cheese, rich Jersey milk and gouda cheese from Hokkaido.
The quality is telling. Its velvety smooth creaminess provided a pleasant mouthfeel, with interesting tinge of saltiness from the cheese.

不过既然要吃勝博殿,还是推荐这里的猪排饭,尤其是丰腴多脂的里脊猪排,相比之下,鸡排虽然是同样做法,效果显得干硬一些。
