Verdict: The server there is really accommodating to our request and speedy service .. It's better to make a reservation if you want to be in a big group as the space of this eatery is not that large and it fills up rather quickly .. They have recently updated their menu with the inclusion of the dessert menu!

My friend highly recommends this cake: Gateau Chocolat Bar Cake at MYR 61.35 nett which she has bought many times to celebrate birthdays of friends and family. We tried all four flavours and the Unicorn Fruit is definitely the most Insta-worthy with its rainbow-coloured cheese. The cheese gets its colour from natural ingredients such as green apple, strawberry, banana, mix berry and blueberry. And yup, this smells and tastes very fruity. However, in terms of taste, my vote goes to the Original Cheese, with its slightly sweet-savoury flavour.

This is a slice of Baumkuchen (Tree Ring Cake) with green tea matcha ice cream in the middle of the cake at MYR 5.80 nett. The cake is slightly sweet with a taste of honey which goes well with the slightly bitter matcha ice cream in the middle. There are a few types of broth to choose from, namely the bankara original which is shoyu based (soy sauce), tonkotsu - milky pork bone soup, miso, shio (salt) or you can even have it dry - tsukemen. Previously we tried the Tonkotsu Kakuni Ramen so this time we decided to go for the Bankara Original (Shoyu based) with Kakuni (braised pork belly). The price stated in the menu is inclusive of the 6% GST but there is another 10% service charge imposed on the final bill.

We hand craft kakigōri, Japanese shaved ice flavoured with fresh fruits and premium ingredients to bring a breeze of cool air to Malaysia (whilst making it taste nice too). Kakiyuki’s fuwa-fuwa（ふわふわ） soft fluffy shaved ice is similar to newly fallen snow. It is only paired with the best of what’s in season. We never add anything weird like artificial colouring or flavouring, and they’re never, ever made from concentrate. Welcome to our bizarre, delicious, frozen paradise.

Sencha ice, houjicha jelly, matcha ice cream, matcha mont blanc, orange peel mochi, matcha warabimochi, yuzu dango, sweetened red bean, fresh strawberry and buttered rice puffs. I think the buttered rice puffs are out of place here though I understand they are included for the crunchy texture to contrast against the other items. Next time I will order a customized bowl of this ice and only select the items I like.
