Holy Crepe RM24. Freshly made crepe, folded with dragon fruits, cream, ice cream. Looks huge but is quite a light treat, not too sweet. We managed to polish clean the whole plate easily even after all the savouries, so we guess you too won’t have problem finishing this!

Awesome beef tataki @ RM 28.80. Love how the beef is being taken care off. Shining from the oil and a nice decent cut that give you a good chew in your mouth. Grill to perfection that it is slightly above medium rare. The fried garlic slices give you the crips and soft veggie to balance it off. Eat it 4 ingredient at one go.

Da On Fine Korean Cuisine Restaurant

Premium meat served at Da On in Pavilion. I don't know why they classify themselves under fine cuisine, as the setting is pretty much very general Korean setting - grill, side dishes, drinks, flat chopsticks. I have to admit their meat are all very fresh, cold noodles good, a little chewy but good, bibimbap not quite up to par (their beef is cooked beforehand, not the raw version, therefore you won't be able to tell the quality of your meat) but in general everything's fine. It's a little pricier than most Korean shops in Klang Valley.

Wing Wing - Pavilion KL Restaurant

Lot 6.01.01 Level 6, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur 168, Bukit Bintang Street Bukit Bintang 55100 Kuala Lumpur

Wing Wing was founded by the London Chicken Elite. Master Chef’s mission was to fuse together The EDGY London street culture, The POP of Asian spices and the European PASSION for pure quality ingredients to create the FRESHEST, the KRISPIEST, the PUREST and the most dangerously ADDICTIVE HAND-BRUSHED chicken LONDON has to offer.

  • erisgoesto.com
  • 2019-08-18 00:00:00+00:00
Wing Wing’s appeal lies in the chicken’s freshness, as the meat is delivered to the outlet each morning, then marinated, battered and hand-brushed with premium ingredients ie French flour and natural spices, before they are deep fried to order. The hand brushing technique creates a thin layer of coating over the basic marination, so you get a thin, crackly and almost transparent crust that envelops the juicy meat within. While all the flavours are great, I personally like the licquorice because it has this great, herbal-like flavour with a sweet aftertaste. The spicy will satisfy spice lovers as it packs quite a punch.

We also have the Chicken Wrap which is another of our favourites. The tortilla kind of wraps filled with the generous portion of meat and with vegetables in it comes simply irresistible. Sides with the golden French fries which is freshly fried upon order.

I am not sure if I will return to this place again, despite being a busy place and the varieties of side dishes. I think I prefer my meat being cooked in front of me so I can have it fresh. I've seen pictures where people can BBQ at their table but I'm unsure why he rejected our request... I would perhaps return to try their soup / rice / noodle dishes rather than their BBQ'ed / pancake - as there are better BBQ places around but slightly further, at Mont Kiara.

Now that I have eaten the Milky Way (plain organic soft serve ice cream with no toppings and no sauce), I can confirm that there was something wrong with the complimentary ice cream that I ate previously. This time the texture of the ice cream is very, very smooth and very, very dense and very, very milky.

Gosh, I still can't believe they actually served me frozen salmon. I paid RM40 for this piece of salmon...I expect better....I demand better! >:( Even if they had overstocked or couldn't manage to sell off their salmon, they could have at least gotten their mise en place ready by defrosting the salmon before service (not that I approve of it). There didn't seem to be a manager in charge of the place when we were there. I don't see how one can open a new restaurant and hope to succeed by leaving it in the hands of foreign workers to manage without anyone senior overseeing the place.
