Overall lunch set portion is quite generous. We were so full towards the end. People with big appetites will enjoy this set lunch.

This has been a stellar experience: food, service and ambience.
Service at SBCD Korean Tofu House is decent. Staff are friendly albeit soft-spoken, quickly welcoming and seating guests upon arrival.

The hotplate mains are ok. But it’s really the soups that are stupendous.

SBCD Tofu House has always been one of my favorites and a recent trip back only confirms it. The Seafood Sundubu is still a great dish with generous seafood and tofu and a great bite of spiciness t…
Service was friendly and the food was pretty decent. A point to note for those who are sitting near the stone wall is to be careful in case there is abrasion as the surface was uneven.

All in all, I find this place to be a good spot for almost any form of chill out, regardless if its colleagues or peers. The quality of the food & beverages is good, and in terms of price point, competitive with most other Korean joints in town.
Modern Korean Restaurant & Makgeolli Bar
5 reviews of Joo Bar "Was so intrigued by the Makgeoli, had to come back a second time, but this time sans the coworker who only liked beer. Had the normal Makgeoli small bottle. It has a stronger kick of alcohol than normal. Was very tasty.…
The stall may looks unassuming but you can guarantee quality and reasonable priced Peranakan food here.
The food is simple, reasonably priced, no frills and authentic home cooked style.
You won’t be able to find better peranakan food at this price range anywhere else in Singapore.
That said, Dookki is worth the price you pay. At this point, there’s no other place where you can get a tteokbokki buffet in Singapore, with plenty of variety in this interesting concept. Definitely one for the carb-lovers.
It was a fun, memorable and hearty meal that brought smiles to the table.
With delicious tteokbooki at affordable prices in a casual setting, Dookki is suitable for relaxing date nights, as well as friends gatherings. Worth the visit.
Overall, I would give Wonderful Bapsang the following rating: Food: 4/5 Space & Ambience: 4/5 Service: 4/5

We like the concept of infusing Korean influence in the dishes offering a Vatos Urban Tacos interpretaion of Mexican food.
We ordered the Soy Garlic Chicken, which was crazy satisfying too.
This under-the-radar Korean restaurant is where you can go to satisfying cravings of “Chimaek” – Korean Fried Chicken with beer.
If you have any questions or need any recommendation, feel free to check with the friendly staff.
Ambience at Bulgogi Syo channels their concept, being spacious, open, and with a modern elegance. The dark shades are interspersed with bright warm lighting, and the sturdy furnishings and comfortable booth seats are decent. The open kitchen offers a view of the action, particularly when staff break out the massive fire blasters. Dancing flames on the LED screens around the pillars complete the vibe.
Overall, I like the concept of Bulgogi Syo. The food is good, tasty and the spiciness level is kids friendly. I recommend their LA Galbi, Cheesy Tteokbokki with Kimari, Seafood Sundubu and not forgetting the super yummy seaweed rice. Definitely a good place to dine with your friends and family. Geonbae!! Cheers!!
SSAK3 has an extensive menu of delicious and reasonably priced meats we couldn’t help but devour quickly.
Not bad at all.
The next time you feel the urge to luxuriate in the decadence of Korean fried chicken, grab a few of your food buddies and head over to Chir Chir.
I would recommend the Spicy version with sliced red chillies and capsaicin sauces, which had a complex flavour – highly comforting and addictive.
Hantol Korean Restaurant probably has other items on the menu worth a try.
Wonderfully stewed with the ginseng broth, the rice is beautifully perfumed with the light aroma of herbs.
Yoogane, if you don’t know the drill, is a doubly counterintuitive restaurant. Everything arrives at your table uncooked, but you are not supposed to do it yourself.
I have visited both outlets and much prefer the Suntec City outlet. The staff at the Raffles City outlet was always rather odd so I try my best to visit the Suntec City outlet instead.
There are numerous food choices at Raffles Place, but if you want to dine at an air-conditioned restaurant without spending too much, Jjigae Jjigae is a great option!
I do find the concept of Jjigae Jjigae in Singapore’s context, and might work better in more youth-targeted venues.
It’s a fine place to chill out with friends for a really long catch up while you rest your tummy for seconds – and probably thirds.
