Overall, I had a much better dining experience at Chicken Up Subang Jaya and for Korean Fried Chicken, they do get the seal of approval from me :)

In the past, it has been picked by Tan Hsueh Yun, food editor at SPH, as the best tasting Korean Fried Chicken in Singapore from a blind tasting challenge conducted by RazorTV. In this challenge, the editor was asked to try 8 different Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) recipes from 8 different stores in Singapore while she was blindfolded. After describing each of the 8 chicken dish, she was made to choose which one is the BEST, and has picked CHICKEN UP as the Best Korean Fried Chicken! And now, this loved by many Korean chains has arrived onshore at Subang Jaya, to be much nearer to Klang Valley folks here. The chic 3-storey restaurant is located just opposite SS15 Courtyard Mall, making it conveniently accessible and is also near to Subang Jaya newly extended LRT station.
We ordered the The Ultimate Cheese Kingdom (RM 88). This is their flagship dish of Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki and gooey cheese. There are sides of kimchi, short grained rice with seaweed, sweet corn with more cheese and mashed potatoes. The server waits for the cheese to melt then wraps each fried chicken in a cocoon of cheese. It tastes pretty good. The fried chicken is covered in a sweet tomato and gochujang sauce which can be very cloying in large amounts but the savoury cheese cuts through the sweetness well. We both enjoyed it.
Taste:8/10(Good. Their fried chicken were tasty and is the highlight of the dinner. Kimchi fried rice were average and seafood jijim were good).

This is their 47th flagship outlet in Malaysia, apart from their 36 branches in Korea and 2 more outlets in Hong Kong. Located at the treasure trove of eateries in SS15 Subang Jaya, OUTDARK, a Korean fusion restaurant is all out to capture the hearts and appetite Korean food lovers!
USJ10's Muk Ó offers 12 Bentos from rm$13.50 to rm$17.90 of Chicken and Beef (with choices of either 3 or 7 side dishes).
The 7 mini to small side dishes are the usual 韓國泡菜 Korean Kimchi, 涼拌蔬菜沙拉 Cold vege Salad, 玉子燒 Tamagoyaki, 炸鳳尾魚 Fried anchovies, 黃瓜 Cucumber, 豆腐塊 Tofu cubes, and I think 炸土豆餅 Hash Brown.
The ultra-spicy korean style chee cheong fun (Topoki) comes with some bean curds and a boiled egg; it is super spicy!
Shinmapo Korean BBQ has topped the list of Korean BBQ restaurants with 430 outlets in Korea and more than 500 restaurants worldwide. With more than 500 BBQ restaurants worldwide and more than 430 shops in Korea, you know this is the place to go for should you need some SERIOUSLY delicious Korean food fix. For those who are wondering, they are known as Ma Gal BBQ in Korea, and Shinmapo BBQ in other parts of the world. After the first blooming success of their first store at Courtyard SS15, they are set to open 2 more restaurants in The Gardens Mall and Empire Damansara to feed the tummy of the Korean Cuisine fanatics! If you think that Shinmapo is just another addition to the repertoire of overrated mediocre Korean restaurants, you will be surprised to find out that this place is totally worth the hype! Unlike existing Korean BBQ joints in Malaysia, Shinmapo's takes pride in Galmaegisal, also known as pork skirt meat. Galmaegisal is only found between the ribs and belly of the pig, therefore it's very precious, only 200-250gm are available per pig. The taste and texture are akin to that of Korean beef.
Well known for their luscious barbequed pork galmaegisal or more familiarly known as skirtmeat, this long and prized slab is well treasured for its flavor as this unique premium cut is only found between the ribs and the belly of a pig that weighs about 200 to 250g on average in every full grown pig.
Mango Snow Ice RM26 is our personal favorite and is the main reason that keeps us continue visiting Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe! The shaved ice variation is generously covered with sweet fresh mango cubes from the inside out, drizzle with a good amount of mango syrup and ends with a scoop of vanilla ice cream as toppings. Whenever we are craving for mangoes, we are more delighted to have a bowl of this Mango Bingsu rather than the actual one since the price and portion (for mangoes) is almost the same, not to mention this one right here is more flavourful, of course! 😉
Snow ice: 6 – The Injeolmi snow ice was alright. It is original Korean flavor, but it do not fit my taste buds (others should be better). Snow ice are quite costly (RM20+ for one). Environment: 8 – Comfortable environment, suitable for going both with friends, or self. Cleanliness: 8 -Well managed. Service: 7 – Was alright.
What makes the USJ10 大长今 outstanding is to me, of course, the level of service and the detailed attention accorded to its customers by each and every person working there.
A yummy korean meal in Subang Jaya UEP. There are plenty of korean restaurant with this name, but i think this is a standalone restaurant not affliliated to any other restaurant with the same name.
Overall's super delicious and I personally prefer the spicy over the original as it taste better and have the kick in every bite.
I like the Garlic Chicken Burger but the others ordered; not too sure about them.
Wing and Drumlet (Honey Soy) RM19.90 It tastes both sweet and savoury, a flavour which will be loved by kids! The seasoning of honey soy is a very thin coating on the surface of the fried chicken and drumlet, hence it is not very sticky and you wouldn't reluctant to eat it with your bare hands.
Overall their food is fresh and delicious so head down to KG Charcoal BBQ today and enjoy an endless meal with friends and family.
Overall it was an enjoyable dinner and we felt our money was well spent here. As long as you set your expectations straight I don’t think you’d go home disappointed. After all, KG is an ‘eat all you can’ restaurant so you can’t expect the quality of the food to be fantastic. There are a couple of pros to pick KG over Kilo Grill such as no time limit, more food choices and more family/group dining friendly due to more space. Not to mention the ventilation here is much better as well so your clothes won’t smell as bad later.
The menu is simple and straight forward. Choose either chicken, beef, lamb, pork or seafood. They come a la carte or in set. Meat set, seafood set or skewer set. My recommendation for you is to go straight for the set and then if you can stomach more, order the extras individually. This way, you’ll get to try everything.
Their spicy level is indeed quite spicy. It took us a while to finish it as we ordered 2 chili. Best advise only to start off with 1 chili.
The "韩式腌制牛肉飯 Marinated Beef Bap" did not impressed me.
The Citron Jelly is garnished with Citron peels as well as dried red dates, enjoyed this dessert.
As a first-timer in Seoul Garden Hotpot, we highly recommend “Squid Hot Plate” RM17.90 which also successfully attract us into their restaurant after seeing other customers enjoying it. This hot plate has a tempting appearance (big fat squid) that keeps us drolling upon serving, has an aromatic burnt shiitake mushroom & soy sauce scent, tastes just like having our local “Sotong Masak Kicap”, and goes especially well with rice! 😉
SOMETHING not only served as a restaurant and bar, they do have few Karaoke rooms for the guests!
Oiso at Damen does provide a comfortable ambience and quiet dining option.
The cafe looks spacious, very clean and cozy; an excellent addition of Cafe choice around the Subang Jaya area.
The Beef Bento was nice, wished it came with some extra sauce for the Beef rice, with 3 dish dish and a drink; its slightly expensive.
The Shimson Stew – Classic Army Stew @ RM48.90 (with Chicken Soup Base) comes with Korean Fried Chicken, Toppokki and melted cheese on the side. Considering the size and amount of ingredients we were served, this dish could easily feed up to 3 people. The stew was light and mildly spicy but still quite flavourful. However the best part was the fried chicken which was rather sweet and only mildly spicy paired with savoury cheese. The Toppokki was also nice with the right amount of chewiness, one of the better ones we’ve tasted thus far.

OWL Espresso Cafe is one of the famous bingsu cafe in SS15. After operating in this area for 2 years, they still remain as one of the top hangout place for students when it comes to Korean dessert. To be honest, this is my first time here after hearing so much good things about them.
Lets check out this unique cafe~ OW:L Espresso located at Subang Jaya SS15. OW:L Espresso, the first cafe who brought Korean Bingsu to Malaysia and the first who brought Marley Coffee to South East Asia.
The ban chan didn't taste too fresh either, so overall not a great dining experience here. When we were paying, I noticed a sign saying that they would be changing their name to Dae Bak soon. This is a far cry from the Publika outlet. NOT a place I would be returning to anytime soon.
