My boy, who is a big scallop fan, loved the seared scallops (he had two!) - plump and juicy, served with butter corn miso foam with bottarga and the crispiest spinach tempura. So delicious! The scallops were sweet tasting and fresh, making them perfect for a carpaccio dish. The thinly sliced raw scallops were topped with orange segments, wild rocket and yuzu dressing.
Mango to Tango is an amazing mix of Silver Tequila, Yellow Chartreuse, Mango, Honey, Fresh Lime Juice and Fresh Egg White. It's one of their MARINI’S SIGNATURE COCKTAILS and it tastes pretty good. Besides that, since its Ladies' night on Wednesday. We were served with free cocktails. Hooray!!/
Taste:9/10(Delicious. Ordered their the new dawn cocktail which is mixture of rum and orange juice. Taste is good and refreshing).
Reasons to visit Marini’s on 57: Location, location, location – the unparalleled views and central position right beside KLCC cannot be surpassed. The quality of the drinks, food and service – first class in every way. The chic and glamorous atmosphere makes for a special experience, and will definitely elevate anyone’s spirits after a hard day at the office. Fabulous venue for any type of celebration, or to just relax and unwind with friends and family.
There’s no shortage of rooftop bars in KL, and I can’t see anything that makes BlackByrd stand out from all the others. We didn’t eat here, so maybe the food is particularly noteworthy. The bar food menu looks tempting and surprisingly affordable for a rooftop bar. The drinks were pleasant and what I expected from a high-class lounge like this. There was a variety of options where everyone could find something they want. I could see us coming back to Black Byrd and getting some drinks and bar bites, but honestly, we would only do so during off-peak hours to ensure we get those great seats.
Reasons to visit Blackbyrd KL: fantastic views of the KL skyline (our favourite seats are on the lounge in the bar); tasty cocktails; international menu decently sized in portion; must try the Tuna Feuillette and the Chilean Seabass.
For truffle lovers, the Truffle Tagliolini (RM49) is a real treat for the senses. Known as the "diamonds of gastronomy", this delicacy is used in 6 different forms in this dish. Truffle oil, truffle butter, truffle paste, shaved black and white truffle and finally a spritz of truffle perfume makes this a truffle dream come true. Too much truffle.?.. Said no one ever! I loved every mouthful of it... absolutely brilliant!

The Saro Sour is so complicated, it takes forever to make, The condiments are torched with a blow torch, the glass is then smoked with the smoke from that procedure, and then only the cocktail is made. Having said that, at the end of the day, this remained my favourite, uncomplicated but yet subtle, and very elegant.
Grilled Cajun Chicken Breast (RM 24) Their all time favorites and one of the best sellers too. Enjoy the tender chicken breast, oven roasted to preserve its juiciness. The meat comes simply moist and juicy. What’s make it better is where it is sides of sautéed mushrooms and generous serving of pepper sauce. The taste is not too spicy but I am loving the fragrant blend of the black pepper taste.
Our favorite among other dishes we sampled that evening. Braised yellow noodles immersed in thick, flavourful broth, topped with prawn, squid, fish cake, poached egg, fried bean curd, green vegetables.
From traditional Malaysian favourites to exciting fusion dishes, there is something to suit every diner’s palate. The menu takes on a mix of western and local flavours and is designed to pair well with Rooftop 25 Bar and Lounge’s beverage list.

“Dendeng Balado” Beef with Kaffir Lime Chili & Lemon Basil (MYR 67) Another highlight would be this long hour braised beef cutlet. They were so tender and succulent, whereby each bite of the meat was very well and evenly marinated with intense flavour from the spice. I guess the picture does not do justice to this dark-coloured spiced meat, but trust me- it was really good and thou should not miss ordering this whenever patronizing Mama San.
Reasons to visit 7Tnine Kitchen & Bar: a casual, friendly setting; a team that doesn’t take itself too seriously, instead insisting on a fun, happy vibe with food designed to fill the tummy and capture a few Insta shots too; the longest happy hours we’ve come across in the city for beer.

Pizza at Sky Lounge Rooftop is highly recommended and we tried the Sky Pizza and Margarita Pizza. The squareish thin crusted pizza top with the generous amount of cheese and tastes so good!!!
Star of the night is the Foie Gras fried rice .Never thought that this dish would be so good. Fried rice is not too dry yet slightly moist, serve with sunny side up and foie gras. Poke the egg yolk and let it flow, mix the creamy egg yolk, pinch a small piece of foie gras and eat along with the rice. Gives you a nice harmonies flavour in your mouth that end with a nice creamy salty touch from the foie gras. A sip or red wine or sake would be a perfect combination. @ RM 98
Reasons to visit Ce La Vi Kuala Lumpur: a new perspective on the city with 360 degree sky-high views; must try the green salad (dressing on the side if you are a fuss like me); kataifi wrapped prawns; and the Passionista cocktail.
I took advantage of the delicious tempura prawns and fresh sashimi they were serving that night. I also partook in quite a few of the free flow wine they had going on. Would I come here again? I would. CÉ LA VI is not what I assumed it to be, they have something for everyone, even an old geezer like me.
Among his culinary creations we sampled are Crab Tacos (RM42) featuring Soft Shell Crabs with Kyuri, Tobiko and Spicy Avacado. Beautifully presented, the dainty appetisers are designed for casual dining – meaning you can pick them up without creating a mess. We like the co-mingling of soft and crunchy textures and of bold, vivid flavours.
