The food are Southern American and Lousiana food. It was rare for Lousiana buffets so it was different food on the counter compared to the rest of the other hotel buffets.

You will be intrigued with the signature NASI LEMAK IN A PARCEL in a Telur Bungkus, served with sambal petai prawn and brinjal, total enjoyment for me from the fragrant coconut rice to spicy savoury sambal.
Ikan Menari RM38.80 Rasa Utara's signature dish ,the freshwater fish marinated with spices and herbs was fried till crispy outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside. The signature blend of caramelised sweet soy sauce and sambal 'nuclear' (hot sambal) served on the side was the perfect accompaniment.
