Uncle Don is busy as usual with people coming for Beer and Food.
Satisfying grilled chicken chop, goes well with the Uncle Don's Home-made Chili Sauce, excellent with the Ice-cold beer.
I personally prefer the beef or pork pizza over the chicken pizza, but the thin crust chef pizza is still a good choice
business is usual for most and parking has become somewhat worst at Main Place area.
Lots of people come here for the laksa or cendol.
Cham was very "Gao", but despite requesting for less sweet; it was still delivered as it is which is very sweet.
Overall makanan Madan Kwan memang tak pernah mengecewakan.
Their portions are huge and so is the price tag that comes with each dish. Anyway, it's the brand name that we're mostly paying for. Their Nasi Bojari was good as always. The rice, Sambal Udang and even their Fried Chicken, all were good and up to my expectations. If you have not tried this dish, I would recommend giving it a try. It's really good and a favourite here. My rating for this dish shall be 9/10.
Nasi Bojari RM29.90 is another signature rice dish which serves with Madam Kwan’s Tri-Coloured Rice with Assam Prawns, Beef Rendang and Chicken Fried Drumstick. After having a mouthful fight with rice, Assam prawn and beef rendang (tastes scrumptious and cleans everything before you even knows) you will surely leave the whole chicken drumstick unscathed at the corner of a plate (which we always did and the main “silat” event).
I would avoid this one in the future and stick to their Char Koay Teow or some others in their menu.
Sister's Char Koay Teow have 3 locations, one in TDDI, another Ara Damanasara, and here at USJ16. Perhaps I should give their Char Koay Teow another go in the future!
Not fantastic as I prefer the Char Koay Teow with pork lard, chinese sausage, as well as not over cooked cockles!
The foreigners serving the food are polite and helpful, a place of good ambience for vegetarian, parking is easy in the morning on Sundays.
The rm$13 "擂茶飯(糙米) Lei Cha (Brown Rice)" was fairly large portion, displayed as YMT's signature dish.
Their Bitter Gourd Tofu Rice Set was priced at RM 12.90 . This set came with a bowl of Brown Rice, some Clear Soup and Bitter Gourd with Tofu. Generally, the flavours were quite light here and it was evident that they had not used any MSG in their cooking. The soup was good and so was their Bitter Gourd. My rating for this preparation shall be 8/10.
I think compared to real fish head noodle, everything is the same except for the 素魚片 vegetarian fish slices and the soup.
Nyonya Cendol have 2 locations, one in USJ21 Main Place and this is in USJ1 Summit USJ. Both offers exactly the same menu. I always like a "very fishy" Asam Laksa, nice! fits my taste.
The Penang Asam Laksa RM10.50 is one of our favourite food that we refuse to miss whenever we got the chance to order for a meal. Nyonya Cendol’s Asam Laksa won our heart mainly due to its huge chunks of sardines fishes scattered evenly around the bowl with fine shredded garnishes/spices, quite sour (too many pineapples) compared to normal version but still “Banyak Sedap”! 😉
What makes the Nyonya cendol here so good is that they insist on using fresh ingredients that are prepared daily. But what really sets this cendol a class apart is their santan, it’s extra thick and creamy with the most wonderful aroma.
So, perhaps the Englishmen thought the sandwich name was called "Roti John" and that was how the minced meat omelets bread came to its name of "約翰麵包 Roti John".
nd visit to SS15's Q Bistro, maybe lesser customer today (Wesak day) and service was very satisfactory today. From order to food on the table as well as a request to thicken the teh tarik was acceptably good and satisfactory.
I am totally satisfied with the excellent poached egg on toast with kaya on the 'corners' of the toast, where the 'recipe' is called "Roti Bakar Telur Goyang"!
Disappointed with both the Milk Tea and fried rice. There isn't any taste except the super hot sambal.
Hainanese Pork Chop with Rice Next we have the Hainanese Pork Chop with Rice where the pork chop is battered and then deep fried till perfection. It sides with the sweet and sour sauce which makes the plate of rice comes simply delicious and awesome.

The Curry Chee Cheong fun comes with not too fresh Cheong fun, some 豆腐卜 taufu pok, 炸豆腐皮 fried bean curd, and mediocre 豬皮 pork skin.
All-day long noodles from early morning to before 4pm. Definitely worth trying!
Today back to try their Roti Telur, with nice thick Dhal and super spicy sambal.
the shop not only offers Pasembur but also Mee Goreng, Indian Bread and other Indian recipes.
Worth mentioning is the 奶油鸡饭 Butter Milk chicken, it came with thick butter milk and maybe a little bit salted egg yoke as well (I think); too bad, better if cooked with more chili powder.
If you're in Subang Jaya and looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, Rendang House is worth visiting. Their nasi lemak with rendang chicken is a true standout, with bold flavors and generous portions that will leave you satisfied. So next time you're in the area, be sure to stop by and give it a try!
Their signature Butter Chicken Rice (RM9) is made with boneless chicken, tossed in their signature creamy butter sauce and chilli padi. The chicken was tender, gravy was ample, and no ingredients overwhelmed the other in taste or amount.
JM Bariani House offers Briyani rice with either Beef, Mutton, or Chicken. Prices of different variants are from rm$15.10 to rm$23. You can also order different dishes separately.
Also sampled their "香脆虾饼 Crispy Prawn Cake". Conclusion, soup was plain and in generally fish products not too impressive.
AK Noodles Station specializes in fish balls; and prides itself for its fish balls without preservatives.
Our AK Noodles journey starts with “Fresh Prawn Fishball Soup Dried Noodles” RM15.94 featuring dried spinach noodles serves with a separate bowl of seafood soup consists of prawn, fish ball, tofu fish roll and some veggies. Overall taste is considered so-so that left us nothing much to shout about since it was just some normal “MSG” soup base, ingredient-wise was very fresh especially three pieces of XL sized prawn that pretty much covers the price for the meal.
The sauce wasn't the best but the chicken was definitely in my opinion above average, nice!
The Jumbo Grilled Chicken Burger with Egg (RM9.80) came with grilled patty soaked in mushroom sauce, a slice of cheese, an egg, and onions and drenched in BBQ, chilli and cheesy sauce. We notice the patty was not wrapped in the fried egg. Instead, it is just topped as a layer in the burger. They were very generous with their sauces, hence if you love saucy and sloppy burgers, this is probably for you. The sauces were super overwhelming and it would be impossible for us not to make a huge mess when getting the first bite. Taste wise, all we can say is it is a Ramly Burger done right. There is nothing to complaint about, even the hefty price is justified with the size of the burger.
I like the Char Koay Teow, not bad at all.
The rm$11.50 "奶油石班魚片飯 Butter Grouper Fish Fillet Rice" comes with several large pieces of butter milk flavored Grouper Fish and white rice, the Chef recommended dish was definitely a flavorful house recipe.
USJ20's 娘惹茶餐室 Nyonya Goh offers around 60 dishes of noodles, rice dishes, as well as a few items for 叫菜吃飯 dishes with prices from rm$8.50 - rm$12.
Its Signature offering is the Nyonya Curry Mee and Signature Yin Yong Rice (only available around 9:30am). Other choices are Nasi Lemak, Pasta, Salads, Economy Beehoon, Fish noodle, and even Nyonya BaZhang and Nyonya miced meat. Seems a lot to offer, worth more visits for the Signature recipe and Nyonya dishes.
