Super Loco Customs House is only a few months old, but judging from how packed it was the evening I was there, it feels like a Mexican bar and restaurant in the middle of the Central Business District wasn’t a super crazy idea after all.
El Mero Mero is making me want to visit Mexico so badly! Well for now, at least there's some good Mexican food to tide me over till i visit.
I enjoyed most of the dishes and definitely looking forward to visit them again.
If you are looking for something more exotic for your next date or group meal, this is worthy of a try.
Papi’s Tacos has been on my list for awhile to try, as I love tacos. One lunchtime I stopped by to fulfill my craving. I went for Tacos de Chorizo and Tacos de Suadero.

I normally don't bother with Mexican food in Singapore. So when I first heard about this place (39 Seah Street, 6258-0701), I quickly dismissed it.
Chimi’s is basically an Al Fresco Mexican Cantina with breathtaking views
Their breakfast burrito was not bad.
It’s a great after-work hangout, especially for those with a penchant for spicy flavours. They also offer punchy mocktails and house-made dessert tacos to end your night on a sweet note. There’s wifi available here too!
I know I will definitely be back for the pulled pork dishes and to try the breakfast burrito!
Guacamole is one of two dining spots along the stretch selling guac bowls.
We like the concept of infusing Korean influence in the dishes offering a Vatos Urban Tacos interpretaion of Mexican food.
The other Mexican Fast Food Chain that I tried is Baja Fresh, but I can’t remember how it compared to Mad Mex.
Everything–from decor to service–is outstanding here, and I will recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican food.
