The Cameron Highlands is the name of a scenic hill station in the state of Pahang in Malaysia which dates from the 19th century. The highlands were founded by a British colonialist named Sir William Cameron and were named after him, and were modeled on a traditional English village. The aim of the Cameron Highlands was to provide residents in the lowlands with some respite during the summer months and allow them to enjoy the cooler climate here, and you will find English influences all over the region.
Cameron Highlands is Malaysia’s largest hill-station located about 200km north of Kuala Lumpur. It is well known for its cool temperatures, breathtaking views of the tea plantations, strawberry picking and fresh produce from the local farms.
Mount Tahan, with a height of 2,187 meters above sea level, is the highest point in Peninsular Malaysia. It is a to-go place for many seasoned hikers who target the highest mountains in Malaysia. There are two official routes to summit Mount Tahan: via Merapoh Trail which is the shorter and easier route, typically consists of a 4-days-3-nights return trip; On the other hand, Kuala Tahan Trail would take 7 days if you descent via Merapoh route, and more if you are doing a return trip back to Kuala Tahan.

Hi guys! So untuk entri kalini nak cerita pasal trip hiking ke Gunung Tahan melalui Kuala Tahan dan turun di Merapoh.
Gunung (Mount) Irau - the tallest peak in Cameron Highlands is located in one of the oldest forests in Malaysia.
Misi menawan Mini Irau berjaya!!

This is my 2nd time round to summit Gunung Bunga Buah. I spend too much time photographing all the hidden forest gems and hence did not manage to complete the trail.

Embark on an extraordinary adventure with us as we explore the enchanting wonders of Cherating, Malaysia, through the eyes of a delighted guest at ClubMed Cherating.
Club Med Cherating has been around for a long time and many parts of the resort needs renovation. An earlier plan to close the resort from February 2020 for extensive renovation has been put on hold. I would say go the mindset to relax, reconnect with friends or family, relish the friendship that you will make with the GOs and enjoy nature. The rooms are comfortable for a good night sleep but if you are looking for luxury, this is currently not the place to be.
All you need to know about this all-inclusive family friendly resort.
But the overwhelming impressions are of nature on one hand and commercialism on the other. As we strolled out through the gift shop and many souvenir/toy stalls, we thought we’d be happy to visit again, but it might not be for quite a while. The cost is RM15 for adults, RM10 for kids over 5.
Ever wonder where they get those lavender themed soft toys that are always displayed behind someone’s car? Yeah, we just found out that you can actually get those at The Lavender House, right at the Cameron Lavender Garden. Other than soft-toy, the souvenir shop also sells replica lavender potted plants, baby shower hampers, mini decoration, fragrances and many more.
If you have not visited Cameron Lavender before, I highly recommend that you do so. Most people spend one or two hours in this attraction.

The dirt track is shady and with some breeze, it was nice to run around even at noon. The family and I walked around the track after our breakfast to burn some calories.

Walking down the beach to the Kuantan River estuary, one can watch the fishing boats coming back from their early morning harvest.
It is a public beach so everyone can enjoy this beautiful scenery for free. This beach is also a good location for water sports activities such as swimming, kayaking, jet-skiing and surfing.
White sand, blue sky and blue ocean. I am very amazed that a commercialized beach can maintain its beauty unlike in Port Dickson.
The talking garden is opened till 8pm only if I'm not mistaken. Come early before it is closed.
原本以为写的是游记, 怎知道写完了之后才发现感觉上好像变成了访谈文章似的~ 不多说了, 去云顶的时候别忘记去找 Eddie 说说话, 聊聊猪笼草呗~
Talking Garden, this enclave of greeneries is not only thematically well-maintained but also mysteriously beckoning to any passerby and nature lovers. By merely just quick glances on the flora preservation, once could easily spot those huge and LOVEly trees that are well trimmed and under real good hands, and how much effort and passion has been nurtured into it.
2 DAYS 1 NIGHT : Jerangkang Waterfall Adventure
Located in Jerangkang Recreational Forest (Taman Eko Rimba Jerangkang), it has about 43 tiers of waterfall (according to the locals) and you will need to apply permit from the Pahang forestry to enter.
Waterfall Abseiling Gone Wrong at Jerangkang Waterfall during my first waterfall abseiling adventure. I was just way tooo nervous soo confused. Thank you to Emad & Aleep from ROH (Recreation Outdoor Hikers) for the rescue and all my concerned team mates..
In short, the place is bonkers, but provided enough fun (and a slide) that we ended up there for longer than an hour in the end, which I certainly didn’t expect when I saw the sign from the road. Enjoyable, if you like a little kitsch.

May it be Challi or Charlie, this is definitely a very tiring mountain to trek (or had my stamina deteorated) and very bad for people who are tall or big sized.
Bukit Repin is a beast if approached from the Kemensah side in Selangor. From the Janda Baik side in Pahang, she’s a more tameable creature, as I found out one Awal Muharram morning.
